I absolutely HATED this finale while being marginally neutral from the beginning. Great techs as usual. Screenplay so awful.

How’d you like to see GoT end? Who gets the 7 Kingdoms? Is there one left?May 11, 2019 at 3:29 pm #1202889305
Well heck. I’ve watched every, single, team I have rooted for go down, often in seven and overtime!
Hmmmmm…..I guess I’ll be cheering for Carolina, although I barely give a sheet now…..February 27, 2019 at 1:43 pm #1202797775
They are both terrific. But since the Duchess of Marlborough was a real person who purportedly was very much like her portrayal I’ll go with Weisz. Plus, I am biased. I LOVE Weisz and all of her work.February 27, 2019 at 1:39 pm #1202797768

Oh vinny, the cat haters of the world are not known for their compassion or heart, like Hitler and Mussolini and Genghis Khan.

Let’s not forget Bonaparte, Webster, and Brad Renfro’s neighbour Ian McKellen in Apt Pupil. See a pattern here? LolJanuary 2, 2019 at 3:46 pm #1202716737
Mary Queen of Scots (2018)
I’ve seen many films this year, but I feel compelled to comment on Mary Queen of Scots, an esoteric field I am very interested in.
I drove over two hours to see this, because it opened in limited release and this was the nearest showing. I didn’t mind the drive. Beautiful. It was Christmas Day.
The cinematography is gorgeous, and the costume designs, authentic….
As an amateur historian and major fan of history I had to see this, and now. I had very few expectations, which was good.
For me to actually feel boredom watching this astonished me. But what really made me laugh out loud was that Bess of Hardwick is played by the gorgeous Gemma Chan.
I understand the “why”. It’s too bad Josie didn’t cast Ian McKellen as Mary. Why not?
And poor poor Margot Robbie. I don’t blame her at all for this. Her agent, maybe.
Ronan has never disappointed me, although a handful of her films have.
Only for fans, and only for a marginal laugh. The WHY of making this film continues to escape me.

Did anyone actually read/listen to His speech? To what was said?

NBC News issued a correction Sunday of its inaccurate tweet Friday that President Donald Trump had praised Confederate General Robert E. Lee at a rally in Ohio, misquoting the president and leaving out the context that he was setting up praise of Union
You’re attempting to engage those with cognitive dissonance so deeply entrenched, it’s likely terminal. They’ll search out anything which aligns with their CD including bathroom graffiti and gum-wrapper horoscopes.
Actually, if Lee had had more money, he may have had a fighting chance. ….October 7, 2018 at 2:03 pm #1202647941

Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a Supreme Court justice Saturday night after the Senate confirmed the judge 50-48. The Senate vote delivered an election season triumph to President Donald Trump.

People will VOTE alright, and not blue.

Ford and Ramirez are liars, we both know it.

Oh yeah, LOL a bunch of times.

As a Canadian liberal, who look like communists to many Americans, I cannot believe what I am seeing. The left doesn’t need any enemies nor critics. They’ve managed to do that to themselves by their lunatic behaviours.
Kavanaugh, isn’t going to overturn Roe vs Wade. That was my main concern.
Hey Ford…how’s your BFF feeling now? You know, the BLONDE who lost?
Keep up the opposition Bruce.
