Just a good church going southern boy, who always watched the Oscars as religiously as church. One of my favorite places to be is in a dark theater, getting lost in another world for a couple of hours.

That’s what I understand as well. This will be a live production of the stage version. Someone in the comments section of EW suggested an actress on a current NBC show to portray Maria and has played her on Broadway before and is a Tony award winner, Laura Benanti of Go On.November 30, 2012 at 4:28 pm #266105
Another popular country/pop queen. Just saying her voice isn’t as strong as Carrie’sNovember 29, 2012 at 12:37 pm #265860
Yeah, Friends started to lose me when it seemed Rachel was becoming more of the focus of the show. I loved Phoebe, Chandler, and Monica (the woefully overlooked Courteney Cox), tolerated Joey at times (when he wasn’t written as a cartoon), hated Ross after season 1, didn’t hate but didn’t love Rachel.November 27, 2012 at 2:04 pm #265815

Martin Short hosting thrills me beyond belief. My heart is beating like a distant jungle drum I must say. Oh Ed Grimley 🙂
Think Sir Paul will sing about simply having a wonderful Christmastime? 🙂November 27, 2012 at 12:21 pm #265792
Apparently it’s a coincidence that he’s not scheduled to be on the last 2 December episodes.
I think his methods could have been better, but if he’s unhappy, he’s unhappy, and he should look to get out. I doubt recasting the role would be that difficult.
This article mentions that he is Seventh Day Adventist. That does explain it. They hold very socially conservative beliefs. If any of you were Gilmore Girls watchers, remember that Lane and her mother, Mrs. Kim, were Seventh Day Adventist and that’s why Lane had to hide her rock music and such.November 22, 2012 at 3:42 pm #75653
Great in Magnolia & Rain Man. Very solid in Born on the 4th of July. Loved Jerry Maguire even if it didn’t seem Oscar-y
Lately though, especially in his comedic performances, I don’t feel like he gives himself completely to the performances. In Tropic Thunder and the woefully hideous Rock of Ages, it seems to me like he never wants you to forget he’s Tom Cruise. As for ROA, he won’t get nominated. The movie was awful and flopped at the box office.November 21, 2012 at 9:49 am #240234
I know. I didn’t care for her as much on Gilmore Girls (but that was due to her role) but she was always a talented actress. I don’t know if her looks got in the way of roles or what.November 21, 2012 at 9:02 am #240232
Do you remember back in the 90s there was a TV biopic of Taylor which starred Sherilyn Fenn? Watching the commercials for Liz & Dick, it almost seems they are making a biopic of Sherilyn Fenn when she played Liz, instead of one about Liz.November 17, 2012 at 9:33 pm #255523
Yeah, the writing has gone back to super suck levels. This show is the equivalent of the Wednesday at work before Thanksgiving.November 17, 2012 at 9:25 pm #255521
Jay Pharoah did a good Katt Williams
Chris Christie was awesome! Highlight of the show so far!November 17, 2012 at 9:16 pm #255520
Why was Maroon 5 in matching clothes? Is it so their music could suck and be color coordinated?November 17, 2012 at 8:59 pm #255519
Did they really have Cecily portray Broadwell in the open and now Jill Kelley in this clip?
Dear goodness this is painful. Poor Jeremy Renner.November 17, 2012 at 8:52 pm #255518
