like what the hell is this reasoning??? they are huge artists with strong fanbases who haven’t toured in years. Of course fans want tickets. none of this is owed to the album/song in contention. Had they not released them, they would be both in the same exact situation.

you dont get 10+ million people wanting your tickets with just fans, most of them are from the general public.

so if the grammys feel like snubbing them again, theyd be pissing A LOTTA peeps off

12 million people in line waiting to get bey’s tickets, 14 million in line to get taylor’s ticket’s (highest record in history)

if the grammys doesnt give bey the AOTY and taylor SOTY, there will be riots

DARLING, Taylor isn’t performing unless she wins AOTY.

shes not even nominated for the category, and honestly i bet she’s more thirsty for an soty than aoty given that adele wont be matching her 3 wins anytime soon.

As for the HDD article, I’m calling bullshit. HDD is notoriously pressed at the Grammys for not being BBMAs 2.0 (you can see it in that article itself by them saying Harry won’t win AOTY due to riggery 💀). My bet is Adele and Bey have not given official confirmation to Grammys on their attendance yet, so HDD is quick to run and say “Grammys being dumped by mega-stars!”. Bey is notorious for not saying she’s attending/performing until the literal day of, so nothing shocking there. Adele is a bit puzzling, if she really does not show up I would be flabbergasted.

    ??

HDD literally does not think the grammys should be BBMAs 2.0.

there’s like 5 or 6 other albums that sold more than harrys house, including 30, red tv and the bad bunny babblery.  hdd wouldve been naming them the favorite if it was the case.

they also think song of the year should go to all too well 10min because they thought taylors performance was riveting and she was long overdue for the award. chart runs are not even in their considerations.

most likely what HDD meant by harry deserving it, was that the growth and change in sound in harry’s album normally wouldve earned him the award, but because they also have to make up for beyonce’s perpetual snubbery and other  insider politics, it has to go to someone else but him.

it’d be funny if the grammys had to zoom-call the big acts who arent attending for their wins and they take forever to pick up or not pick up at all lmao

adele wont go likely cus she been informed she wont take home the aoty, and shes gotta do her residency that week anyway.

bey wont go cus shes been snubbed too many times and would rather not partake in this whole business again

the most surprising one is taylor cus she loves the grammys and most likely have at least won something outside of the big 4, but given that shes busy rehearsing for her big tour, i guess she couldnt be bothered if she wasnt given the soty.

this development actually super interesting. if the grammys have lost the interst of taylor swift then this truly is the end of them. not only the ratings/viewership is guaranteed be in the dumpsters this cycle around, but also the fact that not a single living A list artist cared to show up will be the final nail to their reputation/relevancy/importance

Dream on, delusional Swifties! Taylor Swift is NOT long overdue for a Song of the Year win. She deservingly lost to better/stronger competition.

you’re just gonna pretend like ‘cardigan’ losing to ‘i cant breathe’ in 2021 wasnt due to social pressures and trying to act hip? you can make the case for her losing to a stronger competition other times sure but that one was clearly a snub at taylor’s expense. shes owed an soty.

    HDD should be correct here.
beyonce is long overdue for an AOTY and taylor is long overdue for an SOTY (and with all the records shes smashing, all the buzz shes creating, even the grammys has to somewhat feel pressured into voting for her).

the same way 25 wasnt deserving of winning AOTY over Lemonade, but due to its massive commercial success and record sales, they had do it anyway.

even grammy voters themselves said they would love to give it to beyonce. cant wait for the salt to flow from the adele stans when this happens.

you’d wish theyre just trolls. you can just tell this ‘grammyloser’ loser is actually losing his mind over taylor’s success. he basically lives his life on a taylor siwft discussion thread to talk sh.t all day. and the funniest part of it all is that everytime stats are brought up he just ignores it; he had no rebutal as to why taylor isnt the #1 in the world right now, and just makes wild, nasty comments about the poster instead.  this is legitimately the funniest & most pathetic person ive ever seen on the interwebs.

hes like a guy hopping all around you trying to start a fistfight, but he also dare not stepping too close, cus he knew he’d get knock the F out once the hands starts throwing. this is soooo funnny to watch lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣

Adele is not a has been, she’s one of the most sucessful singers of all time

being “one of the most successful singer of all time” in the last decade doesnt change the fact shes not that popular today. you couldnt find any sources from the 2020s to dispute this, for example.

the ones in their 30-50s who buy her cds massively and go to see her shows, not the silly teens on Tiktok.

Midnights’ 4th week CD/vinyl sales is higher than 30’s in its 2 week sale. Midnights opened up with 1.1m pure sales vs 30’s 600k. Adele’s marketability is at most 60% of Taylor’s, and her online audience isnt even 1/10th of taylor’s. her live-performance demand couldnt fill 900 stadiums like the ticketmaster chairman said taylor could either.
people who are pretending adele is bigger than taylor today, there simply isnt one source/metrics/reporting that can back this claim. stop living in your fantasy. and theres literally zero reasons to be “smug” about being older.

    lol delusional

    LOL this knucklehead is literally denying objective reality. 🤣 😏 🤣 🤣 🤪 🤣

    “FORBES – BREAKING BUSINESS
Congress To Hold Antitrust Hearing On Ticketmaster Amid Taylor Swift Tour Mess”

“WASHINGTON, Nov 22 (Reuters) – A U.S. Senate antitrust panel will hold a hearing on the lack of competition in the ticketing industry after Ticketmaster’s problems last week managing the sale of Taylor Swift tickets, Senator Amy Klobuchar, chair of the panel, said on Tuesday.”

gotta say, my fav perk of being a swiftie is to see all the denial to her popularity contrary to all the firsthand numbers and reports.
