Moore was robbed of an Oscar that year. She was amazing in Far From Heaven and this.

As amazing Kidman is, the only time I might given her the win was for Moulin Rouge the year before.

Cho Yeo-jeong and Lee Jung-eun were the best for me.

She gave a good performance, but I didn’t love it as many people love it here. I would have been ok if she wasn’t nominated.

The Awkwafina and Lupita snubs hurt a lot. This might be my least favorite best actress line up ever.

The best movie of the year by far, but it will be a challenge. I agreed that being a best foreign movie candidate and frontrunner to win that category hurts it the most (same as Roma). That’s why I also think an animated movie will never win too.

J-Lo would actually be a fun nominee and more deserving than many of the possible candidates. My only main issue is that she is a co-lead and category fraud. But the performance itself is worthy of a nom.
