The Sonny Eddy tribute was beautiful. I had tears streaming down my eyes the whole episode
ReplyMarch 30, 2023 at 10:46 pm #1205370091I wonder if we will get storylines for Aiden or Jake now? How is it that Laura is Cam’s grandmother? I thought his father was Zander and his mother is Elizabeth? If their “deaths” are no longer a secret to Victor can they return now and get out of that “safe house”? I keep forgetting that Austin is still on the show! (;
Lucky adopted Cam
ReplyMarch 13, 2023 at 4:23 pm #1205351193Michael Keaton is THE Beetlejuice! I think he’s hilarious and its too bad the Academy doesn’t reward these kinds of roles. Wish Geena and Alec would come back. All of them. Lol. Laughing thinking about the original.
Who gets knocked off best supporting actor that year?
Dean Stockwell and Kevin Kline already gave strong comedic performances
ReplyMarch 13, 2023 at 10:22 am #1205350657Wish Tár came out last season. Blanchett was brilliant and deserved an oscar for it and it would have stopped one of the worst ever best actress winners.
Interesting “what if”
If that would’ve been the case Danielle Deadwyler and Viola Davis would have gotten nominated
March 13, 2023 at 7:08 am #1205350251Happy for Fraser! His performance was ultra baity, but it was still a performance, not a cheap imitation. He did a great job creating this character from scratch. Still, I can’t help but be a little sad for Colin. That was probably his only chance to ever win an Oscar.
Colin should have been nominated for The Batman also.
I’m sure he will get another shot down the road.
March 13, 2023 at 6:51 am #1205350221I love how all the acting winners had their roots in genre movies.
March 12, 2023 at 8:28 pm #1205348777The Mummy is the greatest movie of all-time. Thank you Fraser.
You might be on to something

February 27, 2023 at 6:46 am #1205322037I’m sorry but JLC did nothing Oscar worthy in EEAAO. She was fine, but that’s not an academy award winning performance IMO
The nomination is her win
February 26, 2023 at 6:58 pm #1205320343Yeoh is getting that Oscar
February 26, 2023 at 1:54 pm #1205319022EEAAO would be my favorite BP winner this century. Not BD though, because Ang Lee.
Broke back Mountain or Life of PI
February 26, 2023 at 12:22 pm #1205318931Well, La La Land should have won that year. People still talk about this movie while Moonlight… dead silence. We don’t see drama musical extremely well made like that winning Best Picture anymore. But boring or uninspiring drama like Moonlight (Nomadland, Green Book, CODA, Spotlight, Birdman) won all the time. The only inspiring choices of the last decade was The Shape of Water and Parasite.
I thought Moonlight was fantastic, but that wasn’t the point of post.
I think that film was the turning point for the Academy to pick alternative movies than your standard Oscar bait type of movie.
Moonlight is far from an Oscar bait type of movie. I’m surprised till this day it got nominated for best picture
February 26, 2023 at 11:19 am #1205318876Congrats to EEAAO on its inevitable BP win! A legendary film. The Academy is finally getting it right again. Such an inspired choice. I couldn’t stand CODA or Nomadland!
What a time to be alive!
5 years ago the academy wouldn’t touch a movie like EEAAO
Now it has the most nominations and might win the top prize
The Moonlight win really opened up a whole avenue of movies who can win Best Picture
