if All Too Well 5 Minutes Version isn’t it eligible for the song categories just like the rest, what would make All Too Well 10 Minutes Version eligible for the songwriting categs?
November 18, 2021 at 5:12 am #1204585845This has been discussed in other threads. Can anyone find a new entry for the song in recognised songwriting databases? There appears to be just one entry in ASCAP Repertory for “All Too Well“, showing songwriters Taylor Swift and Liz Rose. ISWC: T9126848133 Work ID: 884655610 This suggests that from a legal/songwriting point of view, it is considered to be the same song as before, just a new interpretation or new performance.
so it’s not eligible for song of the year

This didn’t have to be a whole thread
i’m sorry i rarely visit this site i thought you make threads on topics you want to dive into
ReplyNovember 17, 2021 at 3:50 am #1204583738If I’m correct, since the parent album of the original did not win any Grammys its eligible. I have a friend at a label that said they’re already pulling stops to help promote it for the 2023 Grammys.
but what i heard is that she can’t submit her rerecorded tracks ASIDE from the vault tracks to the songwriting categories because the lyrics have existed to the world years ago, so like how will this affect All Too Well 10 Mins considering it has old and new lyrics at the same time

She’ll get moved to pop.
it will be moved or ignored
It will be moved.
i think that’s not fair for the artists
ReplyMarch 16, 2021 at 12:05 am #1204137367It will get moved. She’s not winning anyway in any genre but atleast she’s guaranteed for noms in pop. And how is evermore americana?
idk. the old cottagecore sound
