Like many have mentioned already, Foo Fighters. If they were nominated for AOTY, do you think they would have won over the likes of Jon Batiste or Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga? Thoughts?
ReplyApril 4, 2022 at 7:06 pm #1204904342Doesn’t she have a Grammy, too? She’s really just an Oscar away from EGOT.
She’s been nominated three times with no wins.
ReplyApril 4, 2022 at 6:57 pm #1204904329Sometimes, the Grammys do get it right and this time, they did with Jon Batiste for AOTY. Still shocked (in a good way) that he was able to win over the big pop acts.
Also, some of these fans need to take off the stan glasses and realize there is a bigger music world than what is trending on the top 40.
ReplyApril 4, 2022 at 6:51 pm #1204904322That I predicted Jon Batiste would have a televised win, however, I didn’t think it would be AOTY. Still impressed that he won top prize.

April 3, 2022 at 3:05 am #1204895426I think Mickey Guyton could win somewhere. I’m predicting her for Country Solo.
I would love to see her win. What makes you think that she could win here?

Musical Theater Album: Girl From the North CountryDecember 2, 2021 at 3:08 pm #1204621253I still don’t understand how Finneas is nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy, when he has plenty with his little sister.
Anyway, Olivia is out front and it would be shocking if anybody else but her ends up winning in January.

ReplyNovember 28, 2021 at 7:03 am #1204610445I feel that the Grammys are really starting to be strict with what is entered in Progressive R&B. Don’t be surprised if Summer Walker is placed in R&B Album next year.
What makes you think her album would be placed in R&B Album next year if she is nominated?
