For any Cardi B fans, here is her Interview Magazine interview with Mariah Carey.February 23, 2021 at 6:23 pm #1204057785
I have a few thoughts. One, why is the “Pre-Grammy” gala taking place in May when the show is on March 14th? Are they planning another delay? SMH
I give up at this point with the Grammys’ lack of organization. It’s been a year since most of the music nominated at this year’s ceremony has come out.
Is it that hard for them to come up with a virtual ceremony? Just annouce the categories and winners and call it a day.
Meanwhile, let me know when Fiona Apple and Ledisi get their Grammys. It’s ridiculous at this point!February 22, 2021 at 5:14 am #1204054082
I think Phoebe will go empty-handed this year. I’m predicting Fiona to win all of her awards and I think Megan will win BNA.
I would love to see Fiona sweep. Even though I have her winning BNA and Rock Performance, what makes you think Phoebe is going home empty-handed?February 19, 2021 at 8:54 pm #1204051138
I’m starting to think that Phoebe is winning BNA and of the rock/alternative categories, Rock Performance.February 18, 2021 at 8:47 pm #1204049244
Jacob Collier pulls a surprise win in R&B Performance (this win gives me Snarky Puppy/Lalah Hathaway vibes) and ends up winning AOTY. He is the dark horse.
H.E.R. wins SOTY
Mickey Guyton wins Country Solo Performance
For a minor category, Linda Ronstadt’s documentary wins Best Music Film.
Better Than I Imagine wins R&B SongFebruary 10, 2021 at 6:28 pm #1204036337
I love this lineup. I love that New York (native over here by the way) is showing out with LL, Mary, Carole, etc. Here are a few thoughts.
I’m surprised that LL Cool J has not been inducted, I thought for some reason he was already there considering him being one of the pioneers of hip hop going mainstream.
I know Tina Turner is inducted with Ike, however, I’m surprised she still hasn’t been in as a solo artist.
So many good choices here, rooting for Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Carole King, Dionne Warwick, so hard to narrow it down to five.February 9, 2021 at 11:47 am #1204033276
For those who follow the Dance music world, what are your thoughts on who wins Best Dance Recording and Dance/Electronica Album this year?February 9, 2021 at 11:45 am #1204033269
This Holly poster troll keeps derailing these threads and when is Goldderby going to something about this troll? Also, who cares about Morgan Wallen?February 9, 2021 at 7:14 am #1204032732
Mary Wilson, a founding member of the Supremes has passed away. The Supremes are the blueprint of all girl groups.February 7, 2021 at 4:04 am #1204027969
After watching her SNL performance, I now feel confident in predicting Phoebe Bridgers for Rock Performance. I think the live version of “Kyoto” that was just performed sounded better than the album version.
I had Brittany Howard in the longest for this category due to her multi-genre support. As much as I would like to see Brittany, Fiona and Phoebe split and win one a piece in the Rock/Alternative field, I think at this point, the rock/alternative categories are between Phoebe and Fiona. The former winning Performance while the latter wins the rest, Rock Song and Alternative Music Album.February 7, 2021 at 3:51 am #1204027961
This is a category not often talked about, Best Dance Recording. I am torn between Disclosure and BNA nominee Kaytranada for 10% featuring Kali Uchis. I am leaning towards the latter, however, for those who follow Dance/Electronica, what do you think?February 6, 2021 at 4:25 pm #1204027436

Who is Morgan Wallen?
Country Singer with a mullet who got caught saying the ‘N’ word on tape this week. Additionally, he was going to be the musical guest for one of the October episodes of Saturday Night Live, however, he broke Covid-19 rules after being caught on tape kissing fans and being drunk without a mask and he has lost support on Country radio and beyond.
