I’m kind of predicting a SZA Sweep. She checks all of the boxes. The album is too big to ignore .

April 29, 2023 at 6:39 am #1205414425I’d say as big as SOS is right now, she could be in the position to sweep R&B categories . Snooze just needs to take off since now it’s a radio single now. She’s beaten Mary’s record on R&B/Hip Hop Charts recently. A sweep or near sweep can necessarily happen when it’s a big era for R&B. The only category that she could falter in would possibly be Traditional R&B.
See… The Emancipation of Mimi, The Breakthrough, Songs in a Minor, I Am Sasha Fierce, 24K Magic, The Diary of Alicia Keys & Dangerously in Love.

April 16, 2023 at 1:54 pm #1205392730I think SZA’s label should gamble with “F2F” in Rock Performance, but that’s unlikely since now they are charging labels per submission.
I agree but they shouldn’t risk her doing a rock submission anyway, she’ll most likely get passed up.

April 11, 2023 at 4:46 pm #1205386559I would’ve given Geena Davis, Best Actress back in ‘92. Thelma & Louise is a masterpiece. Deserved a Best Picture nomination too.
