the nerve of you to call anyone bitter when you are the one still having a mental breakdown over gaga getting cast in a movie 5 whole months after it got confirmed. taylor will never be able to star in a blockbuster like joker 2, and dont deflect by saying you wouldnt want her to because you absolutely would. you’re just a salty taylor fan just like all of her miserable chronically online stans

Again, I wouldn’t. I became interested in Taylor when I first heard Love Story on the radio, not when I saw her do a corny cameo in Valentine’s Day. Unlike Little Monsters, I don’t have to pretend to care about her directing career because like I mentioned previously, Taylor is the biggest thing in music. Although, I can understand why you keep trying to pretend that I want Taylor to be a movie star because Gaga was booted out of the music industry 3 years in and had to run to movies to survive.

Metacritic? you mean the same critics that think Red tv is on the same level as Melodrama? yeah no thank you, i can form my own opinion about music without having to rely on superficial stuff like charts & numbers (the only thing a taylor fan will ever argue about since talent is out of the question) . again, there’s nothing you can do about gaga being cast so melt down on these goldderby forums all you want

No I mentioned Metacritic as the bare minimum bar that Gaga failed to meet. Even when it comes to aggregate year-end critics list, she’s nowhere to be found. She can have as much “talent” as you claim she has but the music is still bad. Acclaim isn’t superficial numbers unless you’re a bitter fan of someone who doesn’t have any.

being an oscar-nominated actress on its own is a huge accomplishment. taylor is not as versatile as gaga by any stretch of the imagination. hell, the woman has zero (0) talent and the one and only talent she has (songwriting) is severely overrated. talk about charts & numbers all you want, she’s the mcdonalds of the music industry

And yet she’s the one who makes acclaimed music that makes it to year-end lists while Lady Gaga can’t get an album past 80 on Metacritic in the age of poptimism or be taken seriously enough by publications to make aggregate year-end lists. Seems like a jealous Lady Gaga fan’s opinion on Taylor’s talent is pretty irrelevant. You should pray this goes well for her after she didn’t get nominated for HOG following probably the corniest campaign in history since this is all she has left.

Hm negative an award for Best Actress is probably more prestigious than AOTY but definitely not a soundtrack award that the likes of Juicy J and Lady Gaga have won.

you’re a gay man you dont get to speak on women’s looks “classically beautiful” whatever that is supposed to mean she is already cast and will deliver yet another phenomenal performance, you can stay salty all you want. cant wait for the upcoming BOMB of a movie your fave is about to direct and the upcoming oscars BOS snub to humble y’all a bit

It means Gaga isn’t really known for being pretty which is why she was casted as Ally where a big part of that character’s storyline revolves around not being classically beautiful. I’m just annoyed she’s going to ruin the sequel to a movie that I enjoyed in theaters.

I promise you I could not care less about Carolina or Taylor’s movies, in fact I hope they bomb so she learns her lesson and sticks to music. Leave the movies to the girls who bombed in music and had to run away to movies instead. Especially since Midnights is looking to be another AOTY contender for her (would be her fourth) which Gaga couldn’t do despite exploiting a dying man and fraudulently shipping cassettes 24 hours early to avoid competing in the same year as Adele.

I don’t care about Taylor and her 5 minute movie cameos, she’s still the biggest artist in MUSIC 17 years after her debut while Gaga fizzled out 3 years in.
