I think Milo deserved nominations for the first three seasons (and maybe a win for season 2).
I would have nodded Sterling just for season 1 (where he also was win whorthy). He’s true he was good in season 3 second half but outshined by season 3 MVP Susan Kelechi Watson.
This Is Us just had an amazing first half of the season and should keep its slot.
This is the very first year where I think Milo doesn’t deserve a nod (sadly Jack story is pretty over) but I certainly wouldn’t rule out another nomination.
I agree with everyone here.
Not groundbreaking TV based on the fist two episodes.
But not a bad written show like some critics said..just a entertaining soapy drama.
If this wasn’t Apple series launch, but a new show on Netflix, or a network show, it would have been waaay more embraced by press.
Jennifer Aniston is really appealing in this,…[Read more]
I totally agree.
Season 3 is so underrated. It had some lows (the notorious Waiting Room episode) but also lot of series highs, especially the Vietnam arc and Beth story. And from the season 3 finaly I knew season 4 would have been great.
Is there anything Milo Ventimiglia can’t do? Great direction from him, with all those…[Read more]
I love Milo Ventimiglia but I wonder how he can keep his lead slot considering he’s having less and less presence on the show…after Vietnam arc Jack story looks over. That’s why I wanted him to win for season 2 or 3
I can’t imagine Jennifer Aniston being better than Olivia Colman but we still don’t know anything about The Morning Show.
It should be good if Apple picked it as its series launch but how much good?
Aniston has a comeback story (even if it’s not a strong one like Zellweger’s) and she could be helped by recent Oscar and Golden Globe win from Colman.

The Good Wife and Julianna Margulies
This Is Us and Milo Ventimiglia
Where are my favorites?! 🙁
People was too much confident of Witherspoon going supporting.
Probably she’s a co-lead and the trailer, based maybe just on pilot, focused a bit more on Aniston.
Love them both. Good luck!
Finished season 3.
Mixed feelings…something didn’t work this season, but still this show is so smart, unique, relevant..that I don’t understand how it can be so underrated.
As many said the show took too many risks for a 10 episodes season.
Let’s say that Diane obsession and pain towards Trump were so much better developed in season 2 (should…[Read more]
Surprisingly I was interested in all the new characters and after one episode they already feel familiar.
I thought season 3 was great (Vietnam’s arc and Beth story were series highs) but yes the show needed to move on in some way.
And this premiere really looked like the beginning of chapter 2, the one that leads to the series finale…[Read more]

I just saw the two seasons of Ozark.
I don’t why I was skeptical but I loved it.
Maybe it hasn’t The Sopranos, or Breaking Bad weight, but the story was really well developed and it became a sort of addiction for me.
I think both seasons were equally good and season 2 finale (weak episode) could have served as a series finale.
Don’t know where…[Read more]

For the first two seasons of TIU I would have put just Milo in lead and Sterling in supporting.
In season 3, considering Jack disappeared after the (great) Vietnam arc, and Chris Sullivan expanded role, I’m fine with Milo and Sterling in lead and Justin and Chris in supporting.
Today I saw Jason Bateman submission and I don’t get why he sub…[Read more]
I just rewatched This Is Us “Sometimes” and it hurts Milo Ventimiglia is #6 for everyone.
His quiet but powerful performance reminded me why Jack is such a beloved character.
To me he’s totally overdue and probably this is his last chance (I imagine his role will be way smaller in next seasons).
This is the shock I want on Emmy night.
