Art Angels by GrimesJanuary 16, 2021 at 6:47 am #1203986306If not for the music itself (which is deserving on its own), Grimes should have been nominated and *won* for designing the cover artwork of Art Angels by herself.

Sufjan Stevens also got his first nom for Mystery Of Love recently even though he’s been releasing acclaimed music since 2000.

January 8, 2021 at 10:35 am #1203969899Like proper retro 80s pop not lover.
She already did it and that really wouldn’t be a good look since it’s already saturated. After this overexposure of sounds that simulate the 80s from 2014 to 2020, it’s certain that this trend will be seen as tacky and repetitive.
Alternative Rock, Singer-Songwriter or Chamber Folk/Pop are the right paths for her next project, in my opinion. I don’t know why fans here are so obsessed with her doing Pop even though those are the worst attempts in her career (reputation, Lover). Chart success is not that important.
January 6, 2021 at 11:08 am #1203966112Ctrl absolutely deserved an AOTY nomination over Awaken My Love.
Let’s be honest here for a second. Not only it deserved the nomination but also the win.

January 4, 2021 at 4:26 pm #1203962648I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s so weird that they’re predicting Beyoncé to win 5 out of 9 nominations but none of them are for Best Music Film.
