Under the new rules there is NO way that Swift misses AOTY for Evermore.May 2, 2021 at 3:13 pm #1204239741
That person is blocked here so I can’t reply or quote them directly. But that’s not the first time you show your true colors. I remember your misogynistic comments regarding Beyonce, when she broke Alison Krauss’s record. (Smiles)
lol (smiles) has the potential to become the new BARF!May 2, 2021 at 2:25 pm #1204239662
Kind of a compliment because he calls her biggest pop artist..but what I don’t understand is where should Folklore have been submitted(because alt voters aren’t gonna vote for a popular artist is what I am told). I am glad someone who has worked in industry accepts/claims it is not a pop record because I have come across way too many people claiming it is pop.
I don’t think he was talking about Taylor Swift.May 2, 2021 at 2:24 pm #1204239660
Funny how Willman’s 2019 article made a case for Taylor Swift’s Lover to be nominated.
I fully agree that snubbing Tyler the Creator was a travesty.May 2, 2021 at 1:57 pm #1204239621
Not sure why people are jumping to conclusions about Taylor being nominated every year. She’s really not that liked by the Grammy’s. We expected her to win 3-4 Grammy’s but she won only 1. I’m not even sure that Evermore will make the top 8. It could get in Pop but I kinda doubt it too especially if there are stronger releases. We already have 4 strong contenders: Ariana, Billie, Olivia and Justin Bieber.
Evermore is not pop. And Lover, and probably Speak Now, would have absolutely been have nominated if it wasn’t for the BRP.May 2, 2021 at 1:45 pm #1204239597
are you implying Taylor is mediocre?May 2, 2021 at 11:49 am #1204239452
but folklore wouldn’t have won AOTY without the committee, so…May 2, 2021 at 11:38 am #1204239432
Evermore WILL be nommed for AOTY! CONFIRMED!April 29, 2021 at 12:34 pm #1204235270
Both Kid A and In Rainbows deserved.April 29, 2021 at 12:01 pm #1204235214
Of course I didn’t say they were the same song, like Your Power is not the same as Re:Stacks. But they are interpolations, no doubt.April 29, 2021 at 11:39 am #1204235173
I heard Bon Iver’s self-titled or For Emma, but again I never think of Radiohead when I think of Billie’s music.
Everything I wanted is a direct ripofff of “Everything in its right place”. The intros are identical.
This song is Bon Iver not only For Emma, but his recent albums like i,i.
Billie is talented but she’s still young, still referencing, and still trying to find her own thing.
