Finished this morning — I enjoyed it, but thought overall the story was lacking. I didn’t care about the characters nearly as much as HH, it wasn’t too scary, and the mystery/reveals were slightly underwhelming. I did get emotional at the end though.
Hill House remains a perfect season of TV. Not only scary, but the family dynamics are what made it outstanding. Without that major emotional lever, Bly Manor couldn’t measure up imo.September 20, 2020 at 10:53 am #1203720526
After the second season of PEN15, with its amazing reviews, is there any chance for it at the GGs?September 20, 2020 at 10:51 am #1203720503
Season 2 was incredible! Episode 3 and 7 are my favorite. The perfect mix of LOL comedy but also such devastating, relatable emotions.August 26, 2020 at 9:59 pm #1203669538
ACS OJ is number one for me, but The Haunting of Hill House and Big Little Lies are definitely up there too. THOH is a masterpiece to me.August 12, 2020 at 10:28 pm #1203643176

I’m intrigued but untrusting. Will 100% tune-in for Sarah though.August 4, 2020 at 9:51 am #1203626192
Andrew Scott remains a standout to me in this. I absolutely loved this entire series and think all of the episodes had something special, but Andrew Scott made me cry. Such a beautiful episode.July 29, 2020 at 8:58 pm #1203614137

I say this as a fan of every single song on this album. seven continues to become more and more of a favorite. But the bridge on cardigan gets me every time — so powerful.July 28, 2020 at 9:36 pm #1203611269
Agreed, it was a great season. I’d say they were more deserving than the Mandalorian too.
I just want to Justin H. to get nominated. It is such a shame that he continues to be snubbed.
Milo, Mandy, and Susan continue to be wonderful too.July 28, 2020 at 10:35 am #1203608676
So sad about Rose — I thought she would win! Such a shame.
Normal People getting a Series nom would have brought me such joy, but Paul, Writing, Directing, and Casting? Incredible.
And I personally think Reese deserved a nom.July 28, 2020 at 9:20 am #1203608049
– The Mandalorian….huh.
– Steve Carrell over Bob and Milo??
– No Rhea 🙁
– Big Little Lies and This Is Us missing a lot of nomsJuly 28, 2020 at 9:18 am #1203608003
Paul Mescal is my favorite nomination, by far.
Really bummed about no series nom for NP, thought it might have a chance. But writing and directing!!!!!!!!!
Crazy that Reese, Merritt, and Rose weren’t nominated….seems like a really big snub.
