Justin Hartley continues to be the biggest snub for me. His performance is incredible and a total surprise for me. Chris Sullivan was good, but I think Justin has consistently done such a great job.
Susan Kelechi Watson for This is Us and Rhea Seehorn for Better Call Saul too.July 16, 2019 at 9:50 am #1202978192
Fleabag getting 11 nominations is the greatest thing ever.June 25, 2019 at 2:40 pm #1202951581
I have loved Adam Scott in almost everything he’s been in — would love if he got nominated for this role. Episode 2 was great, but even his subtle performance in the therapy scene is deserving. That one tear that rolled down his chick when Madeline was distressed. It was like he truly felt compassion for her, despite being angry at her — he doesn’t want to see her feel low about herself. He sold it so wonderfully.June 22, 2019 at 10:02 pm #1202948366
Really enjoying S2 so far. It’s obviously such a complex show, but it really is impactful. The casting is outstanding.June 21, 2019 at 9:47 am #1202947234
SUCH a great trailer. I even got chills. Cannot wait for 7/4!June 16, 2019 at 7:08 pm #1202940862
AMAZING episode. One of, if not the best of the series. Every actress had a defining moment. I felt myself tearing up several times. This show is SO good.May 18, 2019 at 8:53 pm #1202899099
In response to Fleabag launching this weekend on Amazon, I would honestly nominate and award Phoebe for actress, writing, Andrew Scott for supporting actor, Olivia for Supporting Actress, and then the whole show for Comedy Series. Best show I’ve seen this year.May 15, 2019 at 5:36 pm #1202895565
Fleabag Season 2, Episode 4.March 28, 2019 at 10:40 am #1202832484
Jane the Virgin is pretty much my favorite show of the last 5 years — for so many different reasons, it means so much to me. I am a HUGE Jane/Michael fan, so waiting for S5 has been painful but last night’s episode was great. So emotional, all the actors/characters delivered, and gah I would love to see Gina finally nominated. It’s so hard when you have Gina, Rachel, Julia, Phoebe all in the same category.
Justin/Rafael has really been getting to me too. His character has developed so much. I’m almost ok with JR ending up together over JM.March 26, 2019 at 4:37 pm #1202830497

I’m 6 episodes in and it’s really good. So far, episodes 1 and 2 were my favorite. I’m still really enjoying it, but the middle episodes have been so-so.October 15, 2018 at 11:01 am #1202652995

I saw the pilot of The Haunting of Hill House. Stellar! One of the best pilots I have seen recently. Netflix really needs to push this. This could do really well at the Emmys!

I’m excited for you to see more. I watched all 10 episodes this weekend — I usually don’t binge, but this I did — and it’s an incredible season.October 14, 2018 at 8:06 pm #1202652659

The Haunting of Hill House is without a question the best new drama series of the season. I’ve just seen first three episodes. They were exquisite. Everything about this series is top notch. Netflix has to campaign the shit out of it because it deserves all the awards in the world.

It’s so good! I’m on episode 7 and it’s easily one of my favorite shows of the year.September 18, 2018 at 11:25 am #1202636197
I wonder if Stranger Things will ever take a major Emmy.
It’s partially a product of the expanded categories, but for shows that started 1990+, it’s the only Series nominee with no majors despite multiple years with 5+ major noms.
I wish David had won. I think S2 was great, if not better than S1, and deserves some recognition. I think it’s time might have passed, but I do hope it gets something eventually. Maybe its final season.
