As It Was has that post pandemic resonance, whereas Easy On Me is yet another basic break up song, with Adele doing some special pleading: ‘I was just a child…’
No, honey – you were 24 and worth $50m. Hardly an innocent abroad.January 27, 2023 at 10:03 am #1205270616
Grammys production team was filming at Harry’s LA show last night. There’s a hell of a lot more buzz around his tour than there is around Adele’s residency.

Harry WILL sweep. Stormzy won over him in 2019 but that won’t happen this time. Just going to sit here and watch it happen, and see all you nay sayers proven wrong – including his biggest fan here who always undersells him.January 25, 2023 at 6:20 pm #1205267817
Harry’s House is the most immediately listenable album of all those nominated and who knows if the voters listen to the albums more than once? As It Was, Late Night Talking, Sushi, Satellite, Daylight hit straight away. Very different from Kendrick and most of Renaissance and 30.January 25, 2023 at 5:23 am #1205265974
Beyonce isn’t set up to debut Renaissance songs. In Dubai last Saturday she didn’t play a single track from it, not even Break My Soul.January 24, 2023 at 9:11 pm #1205265576
Harry will snub these awards no matter what he wins. He only attends the Grammys and Brits.January 24, 2023 at 9:03 pm #1205265554
Are you sure the critical acclaim is on the same level? According to this list, it’s not. https://www.albumoftheyear.org/list/summary/2022/ And i’d rather be a numbskull than a blinded Harry Styles fanboy.
The only blind guy around here is the credulous fool who thinks that Wet Leg will win Best Album over the juggernaut that is Harry’s House. Wet Leg didn’t even have any big singles on that album whereas H’s H had a massive number one single, a number two single and another in the top ten.
The majority of Brits have either never heard of Wet Leg or think they’re some kind of novelty/comedy act.
Interesting that the Brits have a better line up of performers than the Grammys at the moment.January 24, 2023 at 8:44 pm #1205265523
Beyonce remains self conscious about her appearance at the moment and is really limiting public performances. She put a ban on all pictures at her private $34m Dubai concert last Saturday. I can see her briefly showing up to collect aoty though.
Adele most likely knows she’s lost aoty to Bey and soty/roty to Harry so she’s using her residency as an excuse not to go.
Taygreed has been poleaxed by being left out of the Oscars and must know that All Too Boring has no chance of soty despite her being desperate for that award. Hopefully she’ll stay at home.January 24, 2023 at 7:41 pm #1205265447
Adele is not attending the Grammys, probably because she knows that she’s lost her general field noms to Beyonce and Harry.

Anyone but Taylor Greed Swift.January 21, 2023 at 12:35 pm #1205256420
A popular British artist charting well in the UK, as expected, is impressive? Harry’s House only spent two weeks at #1 in the US compared to both Taylor and SZA having 5 weeks and SZA is about to have her 6th week at number 1. No one cares about the UK charts or else Little Mix would have been a serious contender during their career.
Harry’s House was the second best selling album in the US in 2022, despite only being released in May, so try again.January 20, 2023 at 12:31 pm #1205255302
People have a hard time understanding that the Grammys are a powerful institution. To rebel against them would be a career-ending decree. The Grammy’s are more powerful than you can imagine. Beyoncé would never do this. No intelligent artist would ever do that.
What are you talking about? The Weeknd still has a massive career.January 20, 2023 at 12:22 pm #1205255299
The other albums could only dream of a run like this.
"Harry's House" chart run in the UK 🇬🇧:
1 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 1 – 1 – 2 – 1 – 1 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 2 – 4 – 2 – 2 – 3 – 6 – 4 – 5 – 4 – 5 – 8 – 9 – 5 – 7 – 10 – 7 – 8 – 6 – 8 – 6 – 5 – 5 – 9
