I really liked the album
After reading the negative comments here I was expecting some kind of disaster but lol
Its a good pop album. Fun, good for dancing. The lyrics maybe simple but meh
It was goodMay 28, 2020 at 11:10 am #1203505424
I liked “Sour Candy”….but it’s a shame the song is so short.
According to blackpink fans there is a music video coming…I think that would be a good decision. Blackpink fans are huge on YoutubeMay 27, 2020 at 5:43 pm #1203504301
Simon’s predictions for next week are out. Nice to see a highly-anticipated collaboration match the expectations. What’s impressive that this song still doesn’t even have a radio deal. I’m hoping they make one for the second week. But overall it’s nice to see Gaga and Beyoncé go #1 this month. Like them or hate them but the longevity their careers have is pretty impressive.
Damn poor Katy Perry, -50 this week….her career is really over.May 26, 2020 at 4:36 pm #1203502516
Are we sure Future Nostalgia is locked in BPVA? Pop voters tend to favor either 1. Best sellers or 2. Big Names. Taking last year as a example, we had: WWAFA,WDWG? (best seller) Lover (best seller and big name) Thank U, Next (best seller and big name) No.6 Collaborations Project (big name) The Gift (big name)
I’m sure it will be nominated but not so sure it will win as many users here seem to think.
I think Gaga could take it.May 22, 2020 at 11:18 pm #1203496486
yeah…SWY is looking like a forgotten song already
I think Bieber has a better chance with “intentions”.
No idea about the other 2 spots.May 21, 2020 at 9:16 pm #1203494601
I liked ROM…first listen was meh…but after a while it really gets better
I think a good MV could elevate the song even moreMay 21, 2020 at 6:04 pm #1203494353
but do we think Lady Gaga could have a better shot at pop duo nom with Blackpink? Due to protests that K-pop hasn’t be nominated before.
i dont think that Gaga and Blackpink song is going to be a single
so I doubt that could be nominated
The Ariana collab is her best shot at that category and most likely will be nominatedMay 19, 2020 at 7:36 pm #1203490773
The weeknd is doing a remix of “in your eyes” with Doja Cat
If it does well enough this could be a contender for Pop/DuoMay 8, 2020 at 10:58 am #1203471767
Ariana got a nomination for pop/duo with that awful song “boyfriend” last year….with all the collabs she has this year she is going to get a nomination for sure, pop voters just name check her
I also wonder if that Rosalia and Billie collab has a chance (not sure when they are releasing it)May 7, 2020 at 9:37 pm #1203470653
Bieber sounds like a dying cat next to Ariana. But the song is nice enough
I guess it will depend on how well the song does, to see if he is going to replace “intentions” for pop/duoMay 7, 2020 at 8:20 pm #1203470511
Ariana and Gaga should be winning that Pop Duo category unless the song is a complete disasterMay 7, 2020 at 5:20 pm #1203470159
if Halsey didnt get nominated last year with such a hit song like “without me” I think this year she is not happening again
about Pop Solo I think Billie has a chance with “everything I wanted”
the song is doing well enough, and the Grammys obviously like her.May 6, 2020 at 9:40 pm #1203468271
1. That’s an interesting take/excuse because there are quite a few songs that don’t initially chart high & have little to no radio play but then gradually they become more popular to the public and then they become hits and receive alot of radio play. For bts, it seems to be the opposite effect. Their fans mass buy/stream but they really only make it last for a few weeks or so (if even that) and then everyone forgets about their songs. Honestly, I don’t blame the radio stations for seeing that and not playing them. “Radio play” isn’t the only way to make a song become a hit.
pretty much this.
Besides is not like BTS don’t get exposure, they trend on social media all the time and do TV shows, etc
the public knows about them but don’t seem to be interested in their music. so their songs come and go like non events.
