<p style=”text-align: center;”>The effect on the sound … is it going to be in the movie o just for the trailer ?</p>September 29, 2020 at 5:23 pm #1203743368
I think Hopkins winning chances are going to be hurted by the no attending thing we saw this year.September 22, 2020 at 8:35 pm #1203729005September 15, 2020 at 5:47 pm #1203709026
I hope there are stories with her music. I wonder if that is the angle they will use for the film.
she said that the movie was not going to be a musical like Rocketman and that she felt that it was boring to show how she wrote her classics but there is a scene of how like a prayer was bornSeptember 15, 2020 at 3:07 pm #1203708751
For what I’ve seen in the trailer… I can see Baron Cohen as weak lead contender and Strong (I bet he has a showy character) and Yahya in supporting.September 15, 2020 at 11:19 am #1203708257
This is not good.
i think she can direct but what worries me the most is the screenplay.
i wish it would be more focused.September 13, 2020 at 6:40 pm #1203704312
I saw the trailer of the trial of the Chicago seven and I think it’s a pretty strong contender. And I think it’s pretty clear that all the actors are going in the supporting actor category.
Has anyone seen nomadland and tell me about David strathairn? Is he a contender or his role is just a cameo?September 13, 2020 at 3:05 pm #1203703909
Just came back from Venice Film Festival, I was overwhelmed by Kirby’s performance in Pieces of a Woman, she is unbelievable in the first 30 minutes and has a devastating monologue near the end. For now, I think if Netflix plays well its cards, she is undeniable – granted, if Viola’s narrative (and performance) doesn’t overshadow Kirby. Ellen Burstyn is magnificent too, she made me cry many times. On the other hand, Nomadland… I’m disappointed. I found the movie rather flat, and weak in its portrait of a ingenuous America where all people are good and pure, and the nomad way of life is easy and conflict-free. The directing is okay, Frances is perfect, but I would have given the Golden Lion to other films (The World to Come, Pieces of a Woman, In Between Dying, Wife of a Spy, Miss Marx were all more interesting and stronger). Still, I think Zhao will get plenty of nominations and Nomadland could have the same lucky fate as Roma/Cuaron.
what about strathairn ? Is oscar material or a cameo ?September 11, 2020 at 5:12 pm #1203699611
I thinks it’s gonna be called “Madonna Louise”.
The’ll have to cast Warhol, Haring and Banderas.
Im worried she’s going to direct it. Hope they choose another great female director.September 11, 2020 at 8:17 am #1203698711
Did anyone else watch Madonna’s Instagram live with Diablo? They were working on the script and answering questions about the film.
Sadly she said that they are going to cover almost all of her career. Mainly her rise to stardom. Diablo looked a little uncomfortable. Amy Pascal is producing.September 9, 2020 at 12:35 pm #1203695649
