ReplyMarch 28, 2022 at 12:04 pm #1204886197No, they should have invited him to exit the ceremony, like anyone who punchs someone else in a private event.
ReplyMarch 27, 2022 at 1:35 pm #1204879637Does anyone has the order of categories?
March 26, 2022 at 11:29 am #1204877331Who is announcing Best Picture?
In the promo they said there’s going to be a Godfather reunion, so I’d put my money on that. De Niro, Pacino and Francis.
March 24, 2022 at 9:52 am #1204873616I have mixed feelings about the set design. https://imagesvc.meredithcorp.io/v3/mm/image?q=60&c=sc&poi=%5B690%2C10%5D&w=1500&h=750&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic.onecms.io%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F20%2F2022%2F03%2F23%2Fdavid-korins-1.jpg
What about all those neon lights? It’s a night club,
March 21, 2022 at 5:50 pm #1204865677If Frances doesn’t return, it really needs to be a previous Best Actress winner. They have typically done that in the past three decades when someone couldn’t make it back. My choices would be Halle Berry (20), Jodie Foster (30) or Sophia Loren (60) since they are each celebrating anniversary years of their wins. Jodie would be cool since it’s presumed Anthony Hopkins would present Best Actress. Maybe the two of them could present both categories together?
I’d love to see an actress who never one and is overdue. Like Glenn or Michelle Pfeiffer.
March 21, 2022 at 5:49 pm #1204865675Frances always attends the Oscars but then disses the award, but used the “Oscar winner” introduction in the trailers of the movies she produces. The only reason she presented in 2019 was her husband was nominated.

March 17, 2022 at 1:59 am #1204855380Watching again the promo, they included De Niro in the video even tought he wansn’t a part of the first film. I guess Best Picture is gonna be presented by Pacino, Coppola and him.
March 16, 2022 at 2:42 pm #1204854560Ok I wonder what will be the “biggest opening number ever”. America?
March 9, 2022 at 1:40 pm #1204838408Is it too wrong to think shorts categories could be easily be presented before the telecast?
March 6, 2022 at 6:55 pm #1204834067No, I think she’s overrated. Great comedian, not quite good drama actress. I’d rather Emma Thompson, who can handle both.
ReplyMarch 6, 2022 at 1:42 pm #1204833712Allow me to doubt about this stiff competiton. I believe at this point, Pugh and many others are out by their choice. I love Madonna, but a mainstream movie mess directed by her could be a career killer.
ReplyMarch 5, 2022 at 9:05 am #1204832469This has the potential to be a huge hit, Bohemian Rhapsody level.
I don’t think so. BR was a global success and appealed to many generations, despite age and gender. Madonna is a icon, but I guess few straight men would go to see her biopic. It’s gonna appeal to women and gays.
