Lmao it’s what Beyoncé deserves. What a panned mess! Not everything will be as acclaimed and successful as ‘A star is born’.February 25, 2019 at 4:47 pm #1202794735
I’m still shook about Colman’s win. But in a good way. Although now I’m not sure if Glenn Close can ever win for Best Actress ever. I think she has a good shot in supporting though. She just needs to find a good role in a movie directed or written by someone with high pedigree with the Oscars. I’m sure she has an Oscar win in her.
On a side note. Oh god. I can’t believe i wrote some of the crap I did last night. I may have been a little intoxicated. Not even gonna quote that sh*t.February 24, 2019 at 8:57 pm #1202792214
Feeling bad for Glenn to be honest, but i’m sure she’ll win in the future .February 24, 2019 at 8:13 pm #1202791600

Glenn will be forgotten in a matter of days though, back to obscurity.February 24, 2019 at 1:26 pm #1202788086
Twitter is rooting for Gaga so hard, she’s gonna steal the show omgFebruary 24, 2019 at 11:46 am #1202787914
At the end of the day, ASIB is a huge success for everyone involved, Gaga’s role and soundtrack will be remembered for decades, can’t say the same about Glenn close and the wife lmaoFebruary 24, 2019 at 4:56 am #1202787383
“A Best Actress win would be a justified, admirable conclusion to The Academy’s embarrassing habit of overlooking the stalwart actress. But it shouldn’t have taken this long. While Close carries the perfunctory film with deep, quiet strength, it’s certainly not her best performance, or even the year’s best.”
I keep finding articles stating the obvious. Get that pity award Glenn lolFebruary 23, 2019 at 5:56 pm #1202786880
Glenn winning BA won’t be celebrated by the public as on previous occasions, Gaga’s performance and win for BOS will completely eclipse it, heck even Gaga’s gown will be more relevant.
Sorry GlennFebruary 23, 2019 at 8:20 am #1202786078
41 film critics voted on who should win Best Actress and they said Colman. Close is not winning based on merit but based on her name only, on her privilege. What a bad year. Every time something like this happens (think of Julianne Moore in 2015, another career win) the Oscars are diminished.
this! It’s such a shame.
