I am over the moon that Gregory Finnegan won Best Actor, Nathan Sussex won Villain of the Year, Adam Woodward won Best Male Dramatic Performance and Gillian Wright won Best Female Dramatic Performance.
I’m a bit surprised that Hollyoaks won Best Soap, but at the same time, I can see why they won and I would’ve been happy with Hollyoaks or EastEnders winning Best Soap.
I’m also a bit surprised that Emmerdale didn’t win more awards and I’m also happy with Lucy Pargeter winning Best Actress.
I’m pleased Aidan’s Suicide won some awards, but I do think the Knife Crime storyline should have won something.
I did get emotional when Shayne Ward gave his speech for Best Storyline because I know what it’s like to want to kill myself.
What do you guys think of this year’s winners?
