The Oscar nominations are just around the corner. I’m rooting for Regina King’s first-ever and well-deserved Oscar nomination for ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ in five days’ time.January 16, 2019 at 5:57 am #1202736119

Before everything else, I just like to greet Regina King a happy 48th birthday. I hope she’ll make it to the shortlist next week in the Best Supporting Actress category.January 14, 2019 at 1:33 am #1202733421
Speaking of Screen Actors Guild Awards, Amy Adams will likely sweep in the Best Supporting Actress Category. There’s a chance that Regina King will likely make it to the shortlist. The Oscar Nominations announcement will happen next week, with eight remaining days.January 14, 2019 at 1:30 am #1202733414

The double victories of Lady Gaga (Stefani Germanotta in real life) and Glenn Close were unforgettable in this year’s Critics Choice Awards.
And speaking of the 91st Oscars, Glenn Close, in my humble opinion, has the edge of winning over Lady Gaga in the Best Actress category. Lady Gaga will hopefully score an Oscar for Best Original Song in more than a month.

The nominations are just nine days away. Rachel Weisz is A-OK for me in ‘The Favourite.’ She hopefully deserves to get her second nomination in a whopping 13 years in the Best Supporting Actress category. Time really flies, you know. Mind you, Weisz won the Oscar in 2006 for ‘The Constant Gardener.’January 12, 2019 at 5:30 pm #1202731209
That’s just a fake news!January 12, 2019 at 9:19 am #1202730844
If Amy Adams will not win this year for ‘Vice’ in the Best Supporting Actress category, she might follow in footsteps of the late Deborah Kerr and Thelma Ritter. The last two earned six nominations each and zero wins.
