I think we have to consider that voters are only able to vote in three categories. Will Mariah’s music peers choose Spoken Word album to vote explicitly for her or instead use their votes for other music genres instead?

My gut says the latter.

This is why I think they should do more to get in the face of those who normally vote in this category.

I wouldn’t say it’s “Everywhere”. What we know is that they took out a generic ad with all their eligible nominees in the Billboard magazine, had a twitter post with all their eligible nominees, and apparently one other ad on socials.

But that is about all we know.

This is fairly minimal when compared to other acts.
