Sorry to disagree with some of you guys but I actually forgot I was watching Kristen Stewart in the trailer because she really f*cking delivered!!!!!
A lock for a nomination definitely, if not the WIN. I’m here for it!September 22, 2021 at 10:04 am #1204479238
I can only imagine that this happened twice or so in the first ten years (obviously not counting the first year). After that probably not. Post 2000 I can’t think of a single example.
I was thinking along the lines of late 40s until now. The question just popped it in my head one day lolSeptember 5, 2021 at 11:24 pm #1204440104

I’m gonna predict both Ann Dowd and Matha Plimpton to both be nominated, with Ann Dowd winning.August 4, 2021 at 3:01 pm #1204381178
I didn’t think Kaluuya’s performance was actually that great at first. That actually wasn’t until I found out he’s British and I rewatched Get Out then came to appreciate his performance, especisllh the hypnosis scene. At that point, the only movie I saw of his was Sicario.
I didn’t know he was in Black Mirror until I binge watched it much later after I watched Get Out.August 4, 2021 at 7:33 am #1204380347
Just finished watching Pig and I really hope Nicolas Cage gets nominated!
The movie was unique, unexpected (in a good way) and Nicolas Cage’s performance was literally perfect! I really expected an over the top performance he usually does, but instead I was given a beautiful, moving and raw performance. 3rd Oscar nomination? I REALLY DO HOPE SO!!July 22, 2021 at 4:43 pm #1204358455

Darlings, Demented Hopkins is winning by a landslide in the international vote. He’s taking this.
I don’t know. I mean Thatcher was the only person who said Rosamund Pike was taking Comedy Globes instead of Maria Bakalova and everyone else was so confident on Bakalova winning and look how that turned out. This could very well be a Close/Colman situation.
