I really have to watch more films but well, here it is what I have so far. Maybe the 2019 films will drop in the next years, who knows.
1. Black Swan
7. The Favourite
8. The Tree Of Life
10. Mad Max: Fury Road

Sure, but I don’t think chart longevity is gonna be something voters consider much. Both are seen as huge albums. I think everyone will see Billie’s name and know her narrative and vote for her as opposed to “WWAFA, WDWG spent more weeks in the top 10 on BB200 than TUN so it should win”
This is NOT hard to understand. Voters will NOT check which album lasted longer, but that is a reflection of what the industry followed and what the Grammys will probably follow too.January 24, 2020 at 5:54 pm #1203303139
Not what I said. Context baby. I said it shows that Ariana has the bigger era. Which she matter-of-factually does. Plus Grammy producers Ken Ehrlich and others literally ATTENDED her show and talked to her. The era was ended too early but the highly successful tour made sure not to be forgotten until the end of the year
Tours are part of an era only for fans. Streams and sales actually show what the general public is consuming, and Billie outlasted and outsold Ariana, that is a fact.
And those producers only attended to get her to perform, not to hear her copy mumble rappers.January 24, 2020 at 5:51 pm #1203303133
Can we leave Rami Malek and his tragic victory in the 2010s?January 24, 2020 at 5:48 pm #1203303122
So voters will check how they are doing on their tours over Billboard 200? OkJanuary 24, 2020 at 5:45 pm #1203303112
See when they have no more arguments left you are a troll. It‘s so funny to me. Placing Ariana below Lil Nas & H.E.R but I am the troll. Sure.
Both H.E.R and Lil Nas X are literally under Ariana on my predictions. Am I talking with a 10 year old or something? If so, let me know so I can be careful with what I say.January 24, 2020 at 5:40 pm #1203303100
You are such a bad troll. To ignore you go xJanuary 24, 2020 at 5:37 pm #1203303089
Not really unless you followed charts every week, which voters probably didn‘t. TUN still feels bigger imo with the Beatles record etc which voters probably know. Ariana also has three huge singles from TUN vs Billie 1 huge single. I don‘t think they know how many weeks Billie spent in The Top 10. Ariana has the bigger era overall.
So first you say voters do not care about charts and then you bring a chart record she shares with The Beatles as an argument?
And Ariana does NOT have the biggest era. Like Babygirl said, it lasted only a few months and was overshadowed by Billie. Even songs from her previous EP are getting more streams than TUN singles.January 24, 2020 at 5:32 pm #1203303074
I never understood the “buzz fizzled out” aspect. The most commercial albums that garnered a win in Album “fizzled out” way before the main voting process. 24K Magic died out after “That’s What I Like” peaked (May 2017). Despite 25’s enormous sales, the era’s liveliness simmered down after “Hello” fell from the top spot. 1989’s buzz dried out after Wildest Dreams ran its course in August 2016. I don’t know. It’s quite interesting.
The big difference is that Thank U, Next is not the biggest commercial success of the lineup unlike 24K Magic and 25.TUN was overshadowed by WWAFAWDWG.January 24, 2020 at 5:19 pm #1203303047
Notice how she wasn‘t even allowed to perform 7 rings last year but now they allowed her to perform 7 songs (which 7 rings will be part of). Notice how Ken Ehrlich went to her tour to talk to her. He didn‘t do that for nothing. Scooter has good connections in the industry.
So Ariana winning would be fraud? I agree.
