All I know is that Jarred Harris can win the Emmy with that final episode. He was amazing in it.June 5, 2019 at 7:27 am #1202924374
Does Carice van Houten not exist or?
I posted my predictions for nominations. Unfortunately I don’t think Carice van Houten will get nominated 🙁
That’s why I also don’t have Harrington and Turner.June 5, 2019 at 5:02 am #1202924167

Does the show have sex and nudity?June 5, 2019 at 2:35 am #1202924125
I agree that The Long Night was the better episode and had much more range in the cinematography, BUT all the negativity about being too dark to see is all against the cinematography.
I personally watched the episode on a 50inch plasma, at night with lights out and saw everything perfectly.
I guess we will find out in a week when the submission lists comes out.June 5, 2019 at 2:15 am #1202924114
After GOT I am super disgusted by IMDB ratings and I lost fate in people. I still can’t take voting a 1 out of 10 just because of bad wiriting. It’s spitting in the face of all of those amazing actors, directors, editors, cinematographers, sound people, VFX people, makeup etc. All of those people work this season was 10/10. And people vote 1 they work beacuse the wiriting was disappointing. This is just wrong.
Back on topic:
Fabian Wagner did the cinematography on both THE LONG NIGHT and THE BELLS but he can submit only one of those. Both episodes were beautiful! Which should he submit?June 4, 2019 at 3:32 am #1202922845
Can someone tell me the rules for submitting in Cinematography? Can one DP submit two episodes of the same show or like in directing they must select only one?June 3, 2019 at 1:25 am #1202921221
At this point anything but Chernobyl for the win will be a huge mistake. It is an amazing series.June 2, 2019 at 12:39 pm #1202920593

Question: Which episode will be submitted for Visual Effects?
The Long Night has more VFX and more variety – dragons, storms, giants. BUT it is all set in the night, so the VFX are ”easier”
The Bells has a lot of great VFX and it’s all set in the day, so no ”easy” here.
But I do feel TLG is just amazing piece of VFX work to be ignored, even if it is night.
What do you think?
