I kinda don’t get the overconfidence in her tbh. Yeah, I know she made CC and Succession is the Drama series frontrunner, but the field was really weak, there’s much more competition this time and she was the epitome of furniture. She can get nominated but the “she’s locked” arguments don’t make any sense to me.

Pretty sure Elvis is Drama at the GG. It’s not a musical biopic like Rocketman.

Tom Hanks performance is massively divisive lmao. He has received a good amount of pans and people saying he should be winning a Razzie.

I think she’s being mostly predicted because of her name and ballot placement rather than performance. I remember a lot of people not caring for her when the show aired. With that said, I do know people who have her as the MVP of the girls. Daddario is my personal favourite but Bartlett is my overall MVP.

That’s not entirely true. Snook could’ve happened as well. Same with Macfadyen and Culkin. I mean, this is the second time they nominated Rhea Seehorn.

But like I said in the previous post, them not nominating anyone outside Strong doesn’t mean they’re turning against it.

That doesn’t means critics are turning against it. Strong getting alone was lazy but Succession still got in for Program of the Year, which a show like Ted Lasso (incumbent winner) couldn’t.

Ozark is clearly not in the run for Drama series. Its final season literally came and went and even its most ardent fans weren’t really that high on it.

I just started binging it and you absolutely should. The first three eps are already better than most shows this year.

I would be more comfortable predicting This Is Us to crack Writing had they submitted just one or two episodes and the competition wasn’t as stacked.

I think if Better Call Saul wins writing, it’ll be for Part II a la The Americans winning for its final season. I don’t see it beating Succession or Severance this cycle. Also, AMC should start submitting just one episode and not submit everyone and their mother every year.

Diane Lane was one trifecta away from sweeping the three big critics for Unfaithful, a movie with a 50% on RT and 63 on MC. Blonde can be extremely divisive among critics and Ana still do well with the main critics. Critical reception for the movies aren’t everything.
