Just to chime in briefly: I would not underestimate the film. I follow TWK’s official Instagram account, which has been storying reactions from industry people, and I have seen praise from Madonna, Lil Nas X, Bryce Dallas Howard, Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Kerry Washington, Orlando Bloom, Halle Berry, Uzo Aduba, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Saniyya Sidney — just to name a few. And that does not even consider reactions on Twitter, like that of Sarah Polley. The industry is absolutely here for this movie.
I think it’s a lock for a Best Picture nom, it’s going to have a lot of passion and support. I’m also predicting it for Director and supporting actress noms (i got both of these at 100/1 so i’ll be crossing my fingers all season long)

Most people here were predicting Dog to win for months, it seemed like an obvious winner and there wasn’t much competition to be honest
