Traditional Oscar bait isn’t hitting with the AMPAS like it used to.

 

I think this was one of those times where passion prevailed over baitness. I mean, All Quiet on the Western Front still was the second film with the most award of the ceremony.

I feel that people arent pay attention arent all te winners from all quiet non american’s?and EEAAO is a movie with a asian family,as non american i feel the message was very clean(they are looking more outside,they are trying to do they best)and yes i know its a war movie but yall get It.(also i’m kinda sad for Mandy walker that was one If the only categorys i was cheering for Elvis,they could have done history,but congrats to all quiet).

Where did you get this statistic? I strongly believe it is inaccurate. In 2022, after its most recent new members were announced, AMPAS disclosed that it now has 10,669 members of whom 23% “reside in countries or territories outside of the United States
