I enjoy the short episodes very much. Really like this trend.November 16, 2019 at 4:01 am #1203181776
Just a week of a difference. The point is the voters probably received screeners in advance.November 16, 2019 at 3:35 am #1203181753
I just finished On Becoming a God in Central Florida. The show had its ups and downs (more downs in the second half of the season) but the performances are really great.
Kirsten Dunst has a name and juicy role here to justify some recognition. Theodore Pellerin was a revelation for me. He could be big in couple of years. I will be rooting for them to score some awards buzz. Mel Rodriguez was great as always. Very reliable performer. And even Beth Ditto has surprised me – she kept up with the rest, was really good.November 15, 2019 at 9:56 am #1203180863
Last year there was a close race between Atlanta and Killing Eve.
I wonder if this year it will be clear vicotry for Fleabag or there is something that could come close. Maybe Succession?November 15, 2019 at 8:35 am #1203180742
One thing. If any human couldn’t get in the Good Place for the last 500 years then why did these people from Good Place seem so modern?November 7, 2019 at 1:40 am #1203169464
After three episodes I appreciate this very much. It’s the perfect middle ground between prestige drama and trashy Shondaesque show. Really good.November 1, 2019 at 9:11 am #1203161917

Chance has a great comedic talent. Both his episodes were great.
Easily the best episode this season so far.October 21, 2019 at 8:54 pm #1203147010
I recognize one of the songs from the first episode from the “Eighth Grade” soundtrack, I wonder if the same composer did the soundtrack for this show.
In fact yes, Anna Meredith in both cases.October 21, 2019 at 1:04 pm #1203146220
The music is nice…October 15, 2019 at 5:02 am #1203137244
Just a thought.
Amazon could milk this more by ordering a special “Fleabag Live”. Since PWB says no to season 3 and Amazon would love to get it – it would be the perfect compromise. Not to mention another awards bait.
I would watch.October 7, 2019 at 2:18 am #1203125074
Phoebe Who? Bill Who?
Waller-Bridge and Hader.
One teary scene from Bell doesn’t diminish their great accomplishements.
I don’t think the scene was bad, it was OK. But that’s the problem. Both new episodes were just OK, which is quite underwhelming. Where are the little jokes that I adrored? Why do we have to be bothered with the relationships dramas as much as in every other sitcom. They worked as the backstories to the whole afterlife plot. I can feel that the emphasis on both has shifted. Especially Jason-Janet dynamic is frustrating.
I guess the third episode will be about the gossip guy, but I hope the show will reinvent itself once again soon after that. It really is necessary ASAP.
