Elton John having only 5 Grammy’s is actually proof of the Grammy’s homophobia. Billie won, in one night, as many Grammy’s as Elton John won in his entire career.
Sam Smith won 4 Grammys in one night, Brandi 5 in 2 years. Elton being gay is not assosiated with his Grammys, he never had an undeniable era that would sweep.February 22, 2020 at 3:18 pm #1203356800
Also, could Dance Monkey be placed in Dance Recording category? It has a lot of elements of dance music and doesn’t sound like anything else on pop radio.February 22, 2020 at 3:17 pm #1203356798

Wow. Lose You To Love Me should be higher, it’s a #1 hit with quite longevity but AMAs performance really hurt her. She has never performer since then and she’s not going on tour either. I wonder when is she gonna perform again lol, is she only going to be releasing music from now on. I also think Good as Hell and Anyone are not happening.</p>February 19, 2020 at 3:14 am #1203351637
It’s weird. Selena had a #1 single and she performed it only once and that was one of the worst performance of her career. If she could sing live her chances would be a lot bigger since she could promote it on award shows/talk shows and the song would be definitely even bigger.February 13, 2020 at 5:52 am #1203345382

Lose You To Love Me has way better chances of getting nominated in Pop Solo/Soty/Roty than Don’t Start Now. Both are probably not hapenning in The GF.February 1, 2020 at 3:13 pm #1203324055
The difference between MC and RT is interesting. I think that every rotten on RT must have been included in the MC score and they left out the ~25 other positive reviews from RT. That being said, I think she can be nominated. She still has a lot academy support and public opinion of her is rising. I think having the doc be released in January hurts her chances because hype will die down a lot. I’m not predicting it but I won’t be shocked if it ends up there
It basically comes down to if she campaigns for The Emmys/Oscars(if eligible) and if she gets nominated there, she could maybe sneak in but I’m not betting on it.February 1, 2020 at 2:11 pm #1203324010
I think Taylor’s documentary is better. But I don’t see it being nominated either. Also she really needs to stop caring that much about the Grammy’s.
She doesn’t anymore. The whole documentary is about how she used to crave people’s respect but now her happiness and private life matter more to her. If she would care that much, she wouldn’t skip them for 4 years. The best Grammy campaign is actually performing at the show.January 31, 2020 at 2:12 pm #1203322431
Dua could get in The GF if she gets Lana Del Rey/Kacey Musgraves critical acclaim.January 31, 2020 at 2:08 pm #1203322427
Dua Lipa is at best getting Pop Solo/Pop Album (and even that is a maybe). I think she’s getting nothing. We will have many releases in the next year.
In Pop Solo we already have:
-Everything I Wanted
-Lose You To Love Me
-Good As Hell?
In Pop Album we already have:
-Selena Gomez, Halsey, Camila Cabello (in the same lane as Dua Lipa)
-Gaga, Adele?January 31, 2020 at 9:03 am #1203321812
Grammys are American-based award show with English-speaking voters. What the fuck are you talking about. English artists are of course the most competitive. Latin Grammys are a different award show and not directly connected to the Grammys so let them have their moment. Almost every country has its own award shows. Grammys are the most prestiguous in the US.
