Meryl Streep’s fourth consecutive year without an Oscar nomination is tied for longest time without a Meryl Streep nomination. After being nominated for Postcards from the Edge in 1991, she went four years without a nod, before returning with Bridges of Madison County, in 1996. In her current streak, she was last nominated in 2018 for The Post.

Are the Bardem-Cruz nominations a first? A married couple nominated for leading roles in the same year for different films? In addition, Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst, who are dating, both got their first nominations this year. I love little facts like these, so I’d love to know if I’m onto something here, especially with Bardem-Cruz.

“Cruel Summer” is ideal to be the next single because it doesn’t have a summer vibe, and the lyrics talk about a past summer.
Also, all who comment on the fact that it’d be weird for a “summer” song to be released in any other season, just know that “Despacito” was released in a January.

Lover is a very solid album! The production is great, similar to 1989. Personal favourites are “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince”, “Death By A Thousand Cuts” & “Cornelia Street”.
It is safe to say that “ME!” & “You Need To Calm Down” were not the best choices for singles.
An Album of the Year nomination is not that crazy to consider, after all.
