Barry was underestimated last year. People weren’t even sure it would get in because it didn’t have much buzz but it got 13 nominations. It’s definitely possible.
Barry was high in odds for its main nominations though. Gentleman Jack not so much

I encourage all to vote Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Kate Siegel for Haunting of Hill House for Limited Supporting races

Why are you so obsessed with TMMM? You can stan your fav without putting another show down.
He can’t though. The Good Place could have an episode where all the main characters eat shit for twenty minutes and it would be praised as gold by Guest 2018. I love the show, but this nonsense makes me not want to.

Better Call Saul deserves to stay in, and it will.

What should Thatcher vote in Best Drama Episode?
I only have one spot filled and it’s “The Bells” just for Lena Headey’s performance. I’ll vote the other two with the ones you convince me the most.
“Winner” for Better Call Saul. It is phenomenal and Odenkirk and Banks both give amazing performances but it is Odenkirk’s finale. The ending is fantastic and the cold open is one of the best.

Honey, she deserves a Critics Choice nomination at best. Y’all probably got so excited she came out of nowhere acting solidly and think she gave some awards sweeping performance of sorts. I’ll admit nonetheless that she is one of the better in this race given how this category lacks solid contenders.
Can you do us all a favor and stop calling people that? Forget the fact that it is condescending, it is very annoying too.

Honeys, you obviously couldn’t care less about the Chernobyl events, that’s why you can’t appreciate how masterful this miniseries is. I don’t blame you, you’re all probably 30 at most and US citizens. Hopefully Emmys give this the top prize and get this over with.
I’m 19 and a US citizen and have plenty of friends who love this show. It’s got nothing to do with age or location.

Both shows are fantastic and very different. So I don’t think comparing them makes any sense.

GoT or not, there’s no way to justify the show having 9.7 on IMDb. This site is a joke at this point.
Another classic example of people following a trend like a hoard
Why do you care this much? People are rating it because they like it. There’s no value in being ranked higher on an IMDB rating system and the fact that Game of Thrones hasn’t fallen more shows that the trends aren’t always followed. People love this show and they’re expressing it.

So, I was having trouble picking an episode because drama has really just been dogcrap this year. In the past, it’s usually comedy I have trouble picking things for but this year it has been drama. Then I saw as I was making my predictions in the prediction center that Sex Education was submitting drama. And that’s probably been my favorite show of 2019 so far (that or Barry) so I will suggest the ‘pilot’ of Sex Education – Episode #1.1… there might be better episodes but pilots always get submit so it feels like a natural choice for them.
Sex Education – Episode #1.1 final answer
I second this.

This deserves every nomination it can get.
