Jesus, I’ve seen smear campaigns less harsh than this comment. It was a perfectly solid, entertaining episode and Jodie Comer was great as always
Not a fan of the show either but I seriously don’t understand these people. It’s okay to not like the show anymore and make valid arguments against it but some people are really pushing it. If they HATE it this much they should stop watching. They come here and spew so much ugly shit and ruin it for everyone who are still enjoying it.March 12, 2020 at 8:43 am #1203379278
Finally some good news.February 6, 2020 at 2:57 am #1203332522
And barely any mention of 1917. Might still win but definitely weird. Last year there were quite a few ballots having Green Book as their top choice.February 5, 2020 at 3:02 am #1203330656
It’s like one stupid ballot. People need to take a chill pill.January 31, 2020 at 7:33 am #1203321494
And Chris explained the so-called backlash. The only “backlash” 1917 has gotten is from upset Parasite stans that view the movie as a threat. They are saying the entire film is a gimmick which is a joke. There should be absolutely nothing negative to say about this film. It’s a masterpiece and will get most of #1 and #2 votes.
This is ridiculous. You and the ones who liked your post can consider it a masterpiece all you want but you can’t force other people to feel the same. And no, I’m not a Parasite stan.October 4, 2019 at 7:11 am #1203120935
I don’t know why poeple are scoffing at this comparison. Both were crowdpleasers. Both made a buttload of money at the box office (we already know Joker will be a smash). And both had very strong lead performances that eventually became Best Actor frontrunners. Joker is absolutely this year’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
BR was a global and multicultural phenomenon. I’m sure the Joker will make a lot of money but I doubt it’s going to be a box office phenomenon that will generate the same international excitement. I haven’t seen it but most people say it’s kind of bleak and depressing. Sounds very different from BR which has its sad moments but overall is quite entertaining and uplifting. Joker is absolutely not this year’s Bohemian Rhapsody.September 24, 2019 at 3:15 pm #1203100636
This is beginning to feel like hysteria. Artistic expression should never be controlled even if it makes one uncomfortable. Censoring art won’t make violence go away in real life. They can sanitize Joker all they want it still won’t stop crazy people with easy access to guns. If filmmakers couldn’t delve into these dark aspects of life cinema would be so boring in its perfectly safe choices. The Joker is not a hero, he’s an evil sociopath and nobody is supposed to relate to him.September 20, 2019 at 7:03 am #1203088532
Tyrion didn’t choose the king, he made a suggestion and the other lords agreed. I’m confused about your point about Jon. You think it’s odd that Tyrion, a prisoner, may suggest the next king but think that Jon, a prisoner, should have been made king? He wasn’t a viable option.
But why let him make a suggestion in the first place? This is turning into a GOT thread again lmaoSeptember 18, 2019 at 10:41 am #1203084594
Chernobyl is winning Limited Series, isn’t it?September 15, 2019 at 1:14 pm #1203077143

Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t remember anyone here saying it was gonna bomb. Wise-asses after it happened are many though.August 17, 2019 at 8:37 am #1203027853
Honestly, this last season was so disrespectful towards Jon Snow and Kit Harington. He didn’t get to finish his arc by killing the Night King, he completely rejected his true calling as King of Westeros in a betrayal of his character, he got nowhere near as much showy material in comparison to earlier seasons, he started acting like an idiot who repeats the same two lines over and over in the latter half, and he ended up having one of the least satisfying endings of the entire show.
What they did to Jon Snow was incredibly disrespectful indeed. In the books he’s a lot darker and complex. Show Jon is a mumbling idiot who parrots „You are my queen” over and over, lacks any drive whatsoever and is unrealistically loyal to a fault whereas book Jon is ambitious, ruthless, cunning and perceptive. He would definitely aspire to take the power because he considers everyone else incompetent. Kit deserved better.
