Is anyone predicting Margot to win? Considering reviews and screentime i feel like she’ll get nominated based on hype for the movie, not her performance as a whole.
Well I’ve heard her role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is surprisingly small and she has a better chance going for Fair and Balanced, which we know from test screenings, she has the more emotional role and is the MVP.July 15, 2019 at 2:58 pm #1202976249

I would say it’s too early to call Awkwafina a frontrunner for Best Actress. It did well in 4 theatres but it needs to do well in wide release to be in real contention. The screenplay has a good shot either way and I have faith it will be nominated. Awkwafina needs to have a frontrunner (Ronan/Theron/etc..) somewhat fail because they have a more awards friendly release date compared to a very early July date, but she definitely is going to be up there with a pretty much locked Globe nomination.July 14, 2019 at 8:12 am #1202974546

Tom Hanks is supporting in a beautiful day in neighborhood?
Good Lord, thats the tea!! It would be a nice time for mr Pryce to be recognized and I’m excited bout this cause it’s directed by the excellent Fernando Meirelles. Hope Netflix doesn’t fail this one
The main reason I’m not predicting him is Netflix. I think they put priority in the Noah Baumbach Project, The Irishman, The Laundromat, and The Last Thing He Wanted.July 12, 2019 at 11:56 am #1202972632
I can’t see any more mentions of Dame Maggie Smith in supporting actress for Dowton Abbey. Is it that she no longer has a chance? I really want her nominated because she needs one more nomination at least before she passes out. She was snubbed for The Lady in the Van and especially, The best exotic Marigold Hotel.
She has a chance, but will need a REALLY strong performance. The supporting race is already heating up, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see her nominated if she pulls it off.July 12, 2019 at 10:30 am #1202972519
I saw those, I was putting emphasis on the part about Watson getting good reviews, which isn’t highlighted in these reactions.July 12, 2019 at 9:58 am #1202972463
WOW!!! Excellent reviews for the movie and Pugh. Really hope she can Crack into the BSActress race. Because I very much doubt she can be nominated in Lead for Midsommar (as much as I would Love for that to happen!). But what really shocked me was the bad reviews for Chalamet. Wasn’t really expecting that. But I’ve also read some very good reviews for Watson… So that first review was a bit off. But it seems in every review they’re praising Pugh, Ronan, the script, Desplat’s score, the production and the movie as a whole.
What reviews?July 11, 2019 at 9:31 pm #1202971706
Euphoria’s next episode is directed by Jennifer Morrison, so I hope it gets good reviews and a possible Emmy nom net year!
