I am disappointed people don’t want the two actresses nominated, I think they are both incredibly deserving.December 15, 2018 at 10:20 am #1202702067
Fantastic movie. Does this have a chance of Oscar nominations outside of animation. I’d love to see the editing, sound, music, and screenplay recognized.December 15, 2018 at 10:14 am #1202702059
I have never felt safe about Close, Blunt or McCarthy. After Coleman and GaGa I’m confident one of those three will be snubbed. This season has been so inconsistent that I’m betting one of them will be snubbed for Aparicio. I think the love for Roma is real enough to sweep her in.December 10, 2018 at 7:40 am #1202696514
These had some problems but compared to past years I’m incredible happy (with the tv side at least).December 9, 2018 at 12:55 pm #1202695506
I’ve been saying all season Close isn’t even getting nominated.December 9, 2018 at 12:44 am #1202694907
This film is perfection.December 9, 2018 at 12:28 am #1202694895
I haven’t seen season 2, but Luke Kirby appears to be guest eligible! I’m a huge fan of him, such an underpraised actor. Guest seems like an easy nomination for him.December 4, 2018 at 1:59 pm #1202689243
Succession has been doing well in the top ten lists and it got AFI today. With how they passed over Anthony Hopkins, I do not see Brian Cox as a factor, but is this show getting a lone series nomination, like the first season of Silicon Valley did previously for HBO?
There was a lot of buzz towards the end of the season. I was expecting Succesion to be in the top 10 on critics list but it’s been doing better than I expected. Maybe they give one of the kids a left field supporting nomination. Sarah Snook maybe? She seems like the Golden Globe type.December 2, 2018 at 2:08 pm #1202687526
Could Wagner Moura get a guest nomination for Narcos: Mexico?November 30, 2018 at 3:04 am #1202685813
Finally saw this. Stone is supporting is the biggest recent fraud. They should all go lead and would all be good nominees. Coleman was simply outstanding. Easily in my top 3 films of the year and will probably be my push for best picture.
