ReplyMarch 7, 2023 at 8:21 am #1205335907Looking at his posts, hes obviously voting for Austin Butler, Cate Blanchett, Angela Bassett, Rihanna or Gaga for Song. It’s also very clear he loves Avatar and Top Gun but most of them all, All Quiet on the Western Front. He stated he can’t disclose what he’s voting for but it’s very obvious lol
Not Austin I see. But Farrell

ReplyFebruary 28, 2023 at 5:54 am #1205323899To that point, there’s an article in the LA Times in which Oscar voters share their thinking. I never place a lot of stock in these, but it’s worth noting this quote from an anonymous female actor in her 50s: “It’s difficult not to vote for Austin Butler because I adored “Elvis,” but I think he’s going to be back at the Oscars again in the near future.” Whether it’s right or not, I do think his age impacts Butler with some voters. I read it too and think same. But none of these 3 voters mentioned Brendan Fraser. Just Farrell and Butler.
February 25, 2023 at 6:33 am #1205317453Actor: Austin Butler
Actress: Michelle Yeoh
Supporting actress: Angela Basset
Supporting actor: Ke Huy QuanFebruary 24, 2023 at 2:26 pm #1205316885GoldDerby still predicting Fraser to win SAG. I think he still has a pretty good chance. They might go more for narrative. I’m rooting for a Butler win here to sew it up, but I feel hesitant to predict him. This whole awards season has been difficult to predict.
GoldDerby predicting Farrell will win at BAFTA with big odds but Austin Butler shock people with his win. So I think that will repeat again at SAG Awards. In fact its a really close race between Butler and Fraser.
