Happy Birthday to Melodrama you timeless album!! The one year where the “basic white woman” would have actually made a really good winner in AOTYJune 16, 2020 at 12:02 am #1203535869

If Chromatica gets good reviews I can see it taking PVAMay 29, 2020 at 12:51 am #1203506866
I enjoyed chromatica… I think I like it better than Future Nostalgia but idk I’ll have to listen to it more. Elton was not needed though let’s get that clearMay 22, 2020 at 4:47 pm #1203496143
ROM is wayyy better than SWU. Pop voters love Gaga so it’s definitely getting nominated and if it has longevity then it’s gonna win tooMay 16, 2020 at 2:50 am #1203484482
Of course they don’t. Why would they read the writers and producers of hundreds of songs? Thry barely listen to them. Your post is probably about Say So and Dr. Luke though and everyone knows he produced it, but the voting is anonymous so they won’t care. If the song doesn’t touch the general field it’s because they just didn’t like it.
Yeah I couldnt care less if Say So was nominated or if Dr Luke got another Grammy nomination but I fwu for putting your input when it wasn’t needed. Also I’m pretty sure it would make sense if they wanted to see who wrote or produced a song when that’s literally what the categories are for.May 15, 2020 at 5:27 pm #1203484173
Does anyone know if the Grammy voters see who produced and who wrote the song along with the artist when it comes to voting who should be nominated in ROTY and SOTY?May 6, 2020 at 11:21 am #1203467090
“Modern Loneliness” in SOTY? Lolololololololol I’m dying You probably can’t even name one hit that Lauv has written—because he hasn’t written any (for himself OR other artists). No one cares about the song (is yet to chart anywhere), no one cares about his album, it was a complete non-event. Name a SINGLE precedent to a SOTY nom by an artist with: no major label backing, 0 Grammy nominations, failure to chart ANYWHERE, critically reviled album—you absolutely couldn’t. Your predictions are reading like fan fiction; maybe it’s because you find Lauv attractive or something and are desperate for him to be recognized but I’m sorry to tell you it’s time to wake from your dream cause it ain’t gonna happen.
Pull the panties out of your ass DAMN. People are allowed to have their own predictions and he’s never predicted him before. People can just love the lyrics of a song without liking the artist you know. Get out of here with your perfect grammar acting like you own the thread… this ain’t the place for that sweaty😌April 28, 2020 at 3:23 pm #1203452213
For anyone who’s heard the leaked snippet of Rain On me! Does it sound to you like it samples She Wolf, by Shakira? Especially the main riff at the beginning of she wolf! Or just meApril 27, 2020 at 11:25 pm #1203450875
I’m gonna assume that Lady Gaga’s album will be a success. Here’s my POP lineup: Best Pop Solo: “Break My Heart” – Dua Lipa “Blinding Lights” – The Weeknd “Circles” – Post Malone “everything I wanted” – Billie Eilish “Stupid Love” – Lady Gaga Best Pop Duo/Group: “Memories” – Maroon 5 “Intentions” – Justin Bieber f/ Quavo “The other Side” – Justin Timberlake & SZA “I’m Ready” – Sam Smith w/ Demi Lovato “Fall On Me” – A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera Best Pop Vocal Album: “Future Nostalgia” – Dua Lipa “Fine Line” – Harry Styles “Chromatica” – Lady Gaga “Romance” – Camila Cabello “Hollywood’s Bleeding” – Post Malone
Dua would absolutely not submit Break My Heart in when Don’t Start Now is literally one of the biggest and most successful and BEST songs of the year!April 23, 2020 at 11:48 pm #1203444803

I don’t think an album can be nominated in multiple genre categories can it?April 23, 2020 at 11:45 pm #1203444793
This field is basically so boring. For pop vocal album, I hope the voters can find certain non mainstream artist with fresh pop album (such as Charli XCX, US Girls, Grimes) instead these generic pop artists who sounds so basic like Justin, Selena, Camilla, Post. Their music are so bland and forgetful. I hope they’re not nominated. But for Future Nostalgia and Fine Line, I think they’re kinda locked for this category in terms of quality and sales. For best pop vocal performance, Don’t start now and blinding lights seem locked for this category. I don’t know if Demi (anyone) can still maintain its hype but sofar it’s worth nomination. I hope Adore You can snatch the nomination.
Not you complaining about people making bland and forgettable music and then saying Demi Lovato deserves a nomination for her music… Her music is the blandest of them all! She only makes music along the lines of I’ve made mistakes and I’m learning or loving me is my top priority. There is no artistry in making the same music with the same message. I personally can’t stand her. AMAZING voice though!!!!April 23, 2020 at 11:38 pm #1203444779
Cardi b getting grammy for her shitty album is worst decision. Her songs is only about having sex, p**sy, ….
Name another album, by a female rapper, that has every single song on said album certified Gold or higher by the RIAA and had 2 #1 singles…. I’ll waitApril 23, 2020 at 11:29 pm #1203444766
Rihanna was scheduled to perform KIB at the 2016 GRAMMYs but pulled out. If she had given the song more exposure, it probably would’ve peaked in the Top 10.
I remember when the ANTI era was starting and she teased a lot of stuff during the AMA’s with her website and the quick cuts of the album cover and that was a MOMENT but she decides to not preform at the most watched musical awards event…. embarrassingApril 23, 2020 at 12:19 pm #1203443934
Kiss it Better is singlehandedly Rihanna’s best song EVER! It was sent to radios the same time Needed Me was and Needed Me gained more popularity but Kiss it Better really deserved to be #1. It’s a crime that it didn’t get higher than #62 and it only spent 12 weeks on the charts…
