For the last time!
Blinding Lights is another of Max Martin’s basic pop songs. It is nothing outstanding. It’s one of the biggest hits but it’s not undeniable. It will get into Soty and Roty but it’s not a very strong frontrunner like you all make it to be.
I’m curious to know which song of this cycle you consider to be outstanding.June 25, 2020 at 8:25 am #1203551269
She’s not coming in September. Her manager said it on an interview to Music Week:
Dickins and his team are also working on new music from Adele, whose next record was heavily rumoured to be due in September.
“It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready,” Dickins said. “We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.”April 16, 2020 at 2:58 pm #1203430847
Not Ready to Make it Nice is overrated. In that year Put Your Records On should have won Song or Record over it.April 15, 2020 at 4:40 pm #1203428946
Honey, for the millionth time, Lady Gaga will NOT win Best Pop Vocal Album. Her new project isn’t looking too good. Harry Styles will be a non-factor.
If ‘Stupid Love’ is the best she could put out then she’s definitely not winning Best Pop Vocal Album, but let’s see.April 13, 2020 at 7:08 pm #1203425266
They could move the deadline to December. Really, I don’t even know why the voting process takes that long, it’s not that hard to think of 5 songs to be nominated. To choose a winner is even easier.
Then the ceremony could happen on a weekend in which there’s any random movie award. Anyway that shit of coronavirus will hopefully be gone soon and deservely forgotten.April 11, 2020 at 5:37 pm #1203421554
I think Dua Lipa is coming for that Best Pop Vocal Album win. I’ve never thought I would say that.March 10, 2020 at 8:28 am #1203376950

Adele: “expect my album in SEPTEMBER”.
There’s a video in which you can hear she saying it.January 29, 2020 at 5:40 pm #1203319134
I’m curious about Billie Eilish’s Bond theme. I really can’t imagine how it will sound like.
When you imagine a Bond theme you kind of expect a big orchestra with some good vocals. But Billie can’t whisper with a powerful instrumental.January 28, 2020 at 2:45 am #1203316165
I’m just pissed off that the show was like what 3 hours? And we only witnessed like 8 awards given out?
I said this in the other thread but I really can’t stress this enough…. they should just have the AOTY nominees perform with 1-2 tributes and SHOW MORE AWARDS (!!!) from now on. People tune in to see their favourite artists win not to watch a fucking concert.
The best award show I’ve ever seen is the Brit Awards, they go one performance one award.January 27, 2020 at 4:57 pm #1203315435
Funny how people in here are trying to build a narrative of Billie being a safe choice.
Billie is NOT a safe choice at all. She’s weird, she looks weird, her singing is quite different from what we see in the bussiness, so do not act like if a girl drinking a dark liquid and crying it in a morbid video is a safe choice because it is not.
