680 points is the new prediction. Due to rising streaming numbers in the late week with slightly stronger sales/airplay then expected. That number also accounts for selling 30k vinyls/digital singles from her website. Some people are saying that number could be over 70k though since she sold a signed CD which sold thousands of copies in minutes.

ME! is doing decent in all metrics. It still boggles my mind that there wasn’t a mid week discount but that’s another topic. Promo strategies all happened too late in the week. I would say Taylor should be getting a lot of noms with ME!. It’s a fresh hit and it’ll make up for the LWYMMD snub of the century. Could see it taking VSX as well. VOTY could be a win but that’s all fan voted and sometimes Arianators out vote Swifties vice versa.

Looks like Taylor’s full era will not be eligible for this year’s show. I think there’s a few weeks in the cut off but ME! still isn’t doing good enough to earn her an instant nomination. But album sales and follow up singles should be enough for her to really get into next year’s show.

If Taylor Swift releases a 1989 esk pop album with commercial appeal and pop songs with just enough intelligence to turn heads she will easily get Best Pop Vocal Album. And if Best Pop Solo isn’t competitive then she could get a win there too but she’s notorious for pushing non Grammy friendly singles.
