I guess I’m just associating it with the scoring systems at the universities (Canada) I studied at where C was 55-59 at one and 63-66 at the other.

The Collider review for Only Murders is a C but Metacritic lists it as a 50…? According to their website that’s how they calculate it but doesn’t that seem like it’s wildly underestimating a mixed-okay review?

Can I just say: I liked season 1 of Hacks but I found season 2 to be terrific! The show is at its best when Deborah and Ava are together and having them go on a cross-country tour was a great narrative choice that really paid off.

I just finished the most recent season of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel and I’m shocked at how little material was given to the guest stars. Kelly Bishop, Reid Scott, Jackie Hoffman, Milo Ventimiglia all had practically next to nothing to do. It’s unfortunate that Luke Kirby isn’t eligible.

Those 30 minutes passed by way too fast!

What are people’s thoughts on Arquette here?  I found her performance to stick out like a sore thumb. I wonder how the character would have been like if played by say Cherry Jones.

The scene of Helly seeing the pictures of herself around Lumon reminded of Maeve in season 1 of Westworld when she sees the hosts being made in the facility and the video of her and her daughter in the big screen!

Really great finale, I’m excited to see where they’re going to go from here.

A lot of the narrative choices in the first two episodes are baffling to say the least. I didn’t mind season 3 and I thought it had some pretty good parts but I’ll be surprised if I end up liking season 4 in the slightest at the rate it’s going.

From the teaser alone I’m most excited to see Pfeiffer.

Hmph. I’m a fan of Hacks but there’s so many other shows I’d like to see be ahead of it.

Was Hacks mentioned along with other HBO shows at TCA. I can’t help but be skeptical about it making eligibility primarily because of so much HBO content already confirmed to air.

I thought the pilot was pretty good but as usual I’m extremely impressed with everything Carrie Coon does, she’s so magnetic on screen.

My biggest issue was with how CGI all the outside scenes looked, I found it quite distracting.
