What are people’s thoughts on Arquette here?  I found her performance to stick out like a sore thumb. I wonder how the character would have been like if played by say Cherry Jones.

The scene of Helly seeing the pictures of herself around Lumon reminded of Maeve in season 1 of Westworld when she sees the hosts being made in the facility and the video of her and her daughter in the big screen!

A lot of the narrative choices in the first two episodes are baffling to say the least. I didn’t mind season 3 and I thought it had some pretty good parts but I’ll be surprised if I end up liking season 4 in the slightest at the rate it’s going.

From the teaser alone I’m most excited to see Pfeiffer.

Hmph. I’m a fan of Hacks but there’s so many other shows I’d like to see be ahead of it.

Was Hacks mentioned along with other HBO shows at TCA. I can’t help but be skeptical about it making eligibility primarily because of so much HBO content already confirmed to air.

I thought the pilot was pretty good but as usual I’m extremely impressed with everything Carrie Coon does, she’s so magnetic on screen.

My biggest issue was with how CGI all the outside scenes looked, I found it quite distracting.

I’m excited to watch this! Cena was one of my favourite parts of The Suicide Squad, which as a whole, I thought was incredibly underrated!

What was Seehorn in?

To be clear: I don’t consider Gomez supporting at all, she’s a clear lead. I only brought it up just in case Hulu makes the wrong choice, which I don’t think will happen.

Oh I didn’t know!

As of now, in no particular order, I think the 6 will be: Smart, Brosnahan, Gomez, Rae, Cuoco and Oh with Ellis Ross and Lyonne next in line.

I was thinking there’s still the off chance Gomez would be put in supporting which I why I said (likely), but she should submitted in Lead.

How likely is it though that The Flight Attendant makes eligibility?
Also, until the nominations are announced I’ll be skeptical Lyonne returns.

I mean, Waddingham and Temple (likely) won’t be in the same category as Gomez at the Emmys which helps her. Also, it just makes sense to me that Gomez will get nominated – so much of OMITB’s success hinged on it being a trio so to snub Gomez at the Emmys would be egregious in my opinion. Not to mention that I wholeheartedly think she deserves it.

Something I find a bit strange/interesting is that the younger and older versions of Natalie, Misty and Taissa are all fairly similar in terms of their choices and demeanour regardless of what age they are.

However, I find the younger and older versions of Shauna to have very different personalities. Am I the only one who thinks this?
