Now I’m contemplating if I should watch that crap and live-snark here or stick with my plans and not even bother with it.
Do not bother, if you work tomorrow just sleep.September 22, 2019 at 6:26 am #1203092040

She received applause during — and a giant ovation at the end of — the Hollywood premiere. Renée Zellweger Solidifies Oscar Frontrunner Status As ‘Judy’ Premieres in Hollywood
This is reaching Blanchett’s 2014 undeniable status buzz. I feel like Renée is definitely sweeping.September 20, 2019 at 12:00 am #1203088125

i know who she is,but general public don’t,i look at oscar eyes not my personal bias like you
lol, you tripping. She literally was the main mystery in Desperate Housewives’ 2nd most seen season. Her face is easily recognizable.September 19, 2019 at 11:45 pm #1203088116
a lot of people never heard about her, sorry but her buzz is very small, sit down!
She’s a serious contender for relevant pundits, not hype makers.
thank Goodness someone agrees on Renée having an undeserved Oscar. She’s not the kind of actress that should have two right now
I don’t understand this kind of statement. Mahershala Ali has 2 Oscars, Waltz also does, I don’t understand why Renée shouldn’t if she gives a great performance as it is said out there.September 19, 2019 at 11:28 pm #1203088083
Alfre Woodard is :
- getting nominated for the Critics Choice, it’s delusional to think otherwise.
- BAFTA is the least expected to nominate her for obvious reasons as Bee user just said.
- she’s most likely to get snubbed by SAG, as some users stated before, they rarely support indies. Here for example I can see Awkwafina and Nyong’o filling two spots.
- GG perhaps but I can’t tell.
- She has the Oscar buzz (as small as it is) but I don’t think it warrants the nomination.
Awkwafina is not safer than Alfre, we have this kind of Oscar buzz every year, she won’t get nominated believe me.September 19, 2019 at 4:02 pm #1203087461
i like originality ,so i hope Lupita gets nomination over Alfred who movie is copy of Susan Sarandon dead man walking
Fixed it for you. 😉
Btw Alfre acts circles around Lupita.September 19, 2019 at 2:24 pm #1203087259
Af first I thought it was a joke, then I watched the movie and I was like “she’s not great, but decent” then they keep overpraising her and I was like if none of these critics is going to mention Constance Wu while praising the film, this clearly means Jlo must be buying those great reviews or sum. She doesn’t necessarily have long arms in the circuit, but she has enough connexions to do that. I can’t possibly understand why they keep overlooking Wu when she gives the closest Oscar level performance of the two.
If EW is ready to write these articles about Jlo being the front runner like if it was some kind of a Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) level performance, something is definitely happening in the dark!
