It’s skyfall part 3. They’re still riding Adele’s coattails.

The performances of Original Songs over the years have been pretty lackluster from a production standpoint.  I think Beyonce and even Billie might bring something interesting this year. Looking forward to all of the performances!

Rooting for a surprise win for Beyonce. I think she has a lot of quiet built up support from the industry over the years and her song is arguably the most original and contemporary out of the 5.

It seems like Be Alive is getting a big push. The song had its own credit line in the official trailer for the film. It’s gotta at least nail down a nomination at this point

Try not to sound like such a hater

Sounds like Beyoncé’s ‘Be Alive’ from King Richard will be a major contender. Critics who were present at the screening have said really good things about it and the film as a whole is gaining a lot of Oscar buzz.

ROTY is shaping up to be the big prize of the night. Each nominee is getting a short film dedicated to the record and artist. This will likely be the intro to each of their performances

Just saw something on ATRL that they’re going to tease Adele and a few other performers Sunday night during the Meghan Markle/Oprah interview. That’s making the most sense to me at this point since that will have millions of viewers, and it will be in the headlines Monday morning

Saying this as a Beyoncé fan… wouldn’t be surprised if she only won 2 or 3. That’s a great accomplishment for any artist but I can see the voters snubbing her because they think she’s a shoe-in for a lot of her categories

I don’t think anything will top Aretha and Beyoncé at the 2013 inauguration. Beys performance of At Last in 2009 was probably my favorite performance from any of the inauguration events. So fitting and iconic for the first black President

I feel bad for the artists that were planning on using it as part of a promotional campaign. This probably totally changes Adele’s entire album rollout, whatever Beyoncé had planned, I’m sure Dua and Taylor had big plans too.

I feel like the most shocking snubs always happen when nominations are announced but Beyoncé losing AOTY to Beck in 2015 was the most shocking one in recent memory

I think they will try to get as many people as possible to perform live on the Grammys stage. I’m sure they’ll accept a couple pre-recorded/remote performances

Did you guys see in an interview Megan teased that her and Beyoncé are in talks to perform Savage remix at the Grammys? That would honestly be such an amazing opener… hoping Beyoncé negotiates a performance for Chloe X Halle too

I wouldn’t count out Beyoncé getting awarded for Black is King. Already/Brown Skin girl as standalones could be nominated for VOTY… maybe they’ll bring back best long form video too

We know Adele, Rihanna, Kendrick and Drake are planning to come back with big albums. I think artists like Beyoncé, Bruno, Ed Sheeran & more will hold off until they can tour… and I just hope Beyoncé gives a full album era like Lemonade again

The order feels a little skewed towards the beginning of those 35 years but I like the list overall
