Since I haven’t seen it pop on here yet, the gif we all deserve and needed:
The beginning of the finale was very strong thanks to Emilia Clarke and all the incredible crew that always delivered beautiful scenes. Daenerys in the throne, with Ramin’s soundtrack was awesome. The rest of the episode….well.
Another beautiful thing:
edit: just found this: The Details Hidden On Sansa’s Costume In The “Game Of Thrones” Finale Will Actually Make You Emotional. Sansa’s outfit honored all Stark family. Michele Clapton is a genius.May 20, 2019 at 8:28 pm #1202902464
George about last night. He is a gentleman.
“There was no way to know that this one was going to be different, that this pilot would not only be shot, but would go on to become the most successful show in the history of HBO, win a record number of Emmy Awards, become the most popular (and most pirated) show in the world, and transform a group of talented but largely unknown actors into major celebrities and stars. Even less did I imagine that I would somehow become a celebrity as well… and if truth be told, I’m still not sure how that happened.”
“I want to thank people, but there are so many. There were forty-two cast members at the season eight premiere in New York City, and that wasn’t even all of them. And the crew, though less visible than the cast, were no less important. We had some amazing people working on this show, as all those Emmys bear witness. David & Dan assembled a championship team. The directors were incredible as well. I should start naming names, but then I’d miss someone, there were so many. But I do need to mention David Benioff, Dan Weiss, Bryan Cogman (the third head of the dragon, as I said in the recent VANITY FAIR piece about him), and of course the great team at HBO, headed by Richard Plepler. Any other network, and GAME OF THRONES would not have been what it became. Most other networks, this series never gets made at all.”May 20, 2019 at 2:26 pm #1202901961
Everyone seems so happy to hear her talking. Patricia Arquette is me watching this video.May 20, 2019 at 2:20 pm #1202901947
The Game of Thrones final season and series finale had the potential not just to be passable, but to be spectacular and they were not. Own it.
This make me so angry. They could just made an entire fanservice season, with Jon defeating NK, Arya killing Cersei, Brienne and Jaime together, Daenerys or Jon queen/king, Sansa rulling the North, Tyrion lord of Castle Rock. But it seems D&D just attempet to destroy everything, choosing random ways to finishing the plots.May 20, 2019 at 11:36 am #1202901625
I hope Pose could be a strong contender with many nominations.May 20, 2019 at 5:11 am #1202900969

Actually, I liked how they ended Daenerys. They ended her storyline pretty well.
Killing one of the most iconic characters in the history of TV on the first 30 minutes of the episode and don’t even showing what happened with her corpse and Drogon?
