Taraji & Danielle look dynamic in TCP! I could see them both getting in depending on how the line up progresses. Lily has an extremely baity role, but I wouldn’t be surprised if either Henson or Brooks are also competitive.

I hope the ppl who weren’t predicting Fantasia in their early line ups correct their errors. Mama is coming to snatch wigs with “I’m Here”! I could see that one scene impressing voters enough to give her the win. Nobody puts as much emotion into a song as Miss Barrino.

Random but kinda related: I recently watched Lily Gladstone in Certain Women. The movie was meh, but she was a definite stand out. Maybe even nomination worthy.

From what I’ve heard Beau Is Afraid is a VERY divisive film. Seeing it later today so I should know for sure. Patti LuPone, though a legend, isn’t my cup of tea. She seems rather rude when discussing other performers. Which comes off unprofessional & bitter. So we’ll see how far the Oscar conversation goes.
