Didn’t learn shit. It just reinforced what I already knew. That the Grammys is an out-of-touch and racist establishment that will never acknowledge POC artists outside of their ‘preferred’ fields.

Seriously?
I didn’t say it was disrespectful I said you are shading them which you were in my opinion. Also, I can acknowledge that most people here don’t care for their music or like them as artists but that’s their opinion. You fighting tooth and nail and going on and on about it isn’t going to change it. So let’s end this very off-topic back and forth and get back to the actual topic at hand which is Pop winner predictions.

I also don’t think it’s in any way unreasonable to expect people to refrain from being blatantly disrespectful, rude and demeaning towards them. If that didn’t happen I would have replied A LOT less in this thread. I just find it so bizarre that some people refuse to treat them as artists when they’ve been writing/composing/producing music for a decade, some for 15 years.
Because none of the users owes BTS anything. A lot people on here don’t like A LOT of artists and have actively expressed that within the context of the topic. BTS are not the only artists that go through that nor are they ‘special’ to be exempt from ‘criticism’. At the end of the day this a Pop Prediction forum topic which will include varied opinions which you probably won’t agree with or like. You honestly just need to accept that or go to a BTS forum with other like-minded individuals but like I said carry on if you want.

Nevertheless, I know you really want to conceive everyone here that BTS are the best artists to grace this earth but like someone else said you efforts are VERY fruitless. Not everyone likes BTS or their music and that’s okay. You’re defending BTS like you’re getting paid for it and it’s a waste of your time. But carry on if you want I guess…

Especially since majority of people trying to buy it definitely did not listen to the album and are doing FOMO. Is anyone here trying to get tickets?

They are songwriters, composers and producers of music as well as dancers. The majority of the members also play instruments. They just choose to do choreography instead. Each member has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in music industry related fields, some either have or are working on Masters Degrees. One of the members directed their Life Goes On music video. RM has about 200 songwriting credits under KOMCA. Suga has about 150. Jhope has around 135. I think each of BTS’s rapline have written/composed more songs than Abba has even released. Since Hybe bought Scooter Braun’s company there are a lot more people in the US industry that are much more familiar with BTS and have learned that they don’t fit into the typical boyband box. Not you shading ABBA to uplift BTS. I’m pretty sure ABBA’s greatest hits wash anything that BTS or any of their members have released. Like you can be an obsessed BTS fan that’s fine but let’s not do that.

Stating your opinion about artists (this case BTS) is not hating and it’s very much giving victimhood mentality when you guys claim that ‘everyone on this forum hates them for no reason’ when majority of comments have not been insults. You guys need to accept that outside your fandom no one really cares about BTS and that’s okay.

Flowers is definitely debuting at number 1 and I can see it having longevity. Unless her useless team creates incentives for more purchases or they actually decide to give her decent amount of radio it will probably peak at #2.

I happen to think Unholy is one of the worst songs ever made but a lot of people think it’s the best thing since sliced bread…and even though I disagree, they are entitled to their opinion, just as I’m entitled to mine. If you take issue with that I suggest you utilize the scroll feature of your mouse, it will be far more productive since I don’t give a flying fart what you think.
I genuinely feel like you are not okay up there. This is a Pop predictions for the Grammys. All I’m saying is take your whining and obsession for BTS to the correct forum topic. No will bother you and annoying opinions there 🙄. Anyways, I think my predictions are set. Adele- Pop Solo and Pop Vocal Album (Harry could upset for Pop Solo) and ABBA- Pop/Group. I’m rooting for Diana Ross for Traditional Pop but I’m not well verse in that category.
