If Gaga was nominated this thread would have probably surpassed 100 already. Lol
That’s true
ReplyMarch 27, 2022 at 10:45 am #1204879191remember that we planned to be on thread 100 on Oscar day, we’re not such crazy fans, as it turns out
ReplyMarch 7, 2022 at 5:55 pm #1204835686With Olivia yet again skipping SAG, the luncheon and not being BAFTA nominated, we’re pretty much not gonna get an appearance before the Oscars
why are we not talking about the fact that Olivia does not do her job, which is not only acting, but also interviews, photo shoots, etc. Since you’re not interested in it, then why come to the Oscars if you haven’t shown a drop of respect for the award season. (I don’t think that way! these were counterarguments. Stop praising some and demoting others for a different approach to your post-film work)
March 7, 2022 at 5:45 pm #1204835663Oscar is a holiday. The whole award season is a holiday. The only right thing is to smile and celebrate cinema and great movies while there is an opportunity. We are not grieving here, we are celebrating. These thirsty actors are doing everything right – making an appearance wherever is possible and having fun
March 7, 2022 at 5:38 pm #1204835642Also, you guys – who pretend to be so cool and all this Oscar crap is not for you – you will be the first to run wherever you are invited, if you have such an opportunity
March 7, 2022 at 5:34 pm #1204835632OMG. Stop talking about oscar thirsty shit. Do you know that these films were released by film companies ? and they are responsible for all the events to which the actors attend. Kristen and Andrew don’t call their agents to arrange another interview. Yes, it’s up to them to refuse or not, but if you enjoy it, you like to talk about your movie, then what’s wrong with that??? Campaigning is needed so that more people will see your film, it’s not only about Oscars. Stop
with this shitty “the work of an artist speaks for itself”, no, it doesn’t! it works when the movie starts and stops when it ends. Everything else is the work of actors outside the set – their campaigning. I would like to see how you behaved if you made a film and not a single soul saw it, because “the work of an artist speaks for itself”. in the end this thirsty actors were nominated for an Oscar, so it’s not that bad, isn’t?March 2, 2022 at 6:19 am #1204827622Still thinking about Jessica’s stunning makeup and suit for the SAG awards ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Yeaaah, she’s so gorgeous all the time
February 28, 2022 at 11:10 pm #1204825175Kristen won HCA!
February 28, 2022 at 8:11 am #1204823933We are making a mistake again. We shouldn’t make Jessica a frontrunner. The world and cinema, along with it, are changing at an unrealistic speed. Every year precursors will mean less and less. Of course, there will always be 2-3 nominees who managed to break through everywhere, but I think that’s all
February 28, 2022 at 4:50 am #1204823623Stewart could’ve honestly won without SAG due to her being the younger actress. A veteran like Chastain, Colman or Kidman needs SAG. It’s quite inexcusable tbh. 2nd wins need SAG. Even Frances MacDormand had to sweep SAG for her 2nd Oscar. Ensemble + Actress.
Kristen has been an actress longer than Colman and Chastain (you literally have Kristen on your profile pic, why don’t you know that?) so she’s just as much of a veteran as they are, if not more. Maybe you were talking about age, if that’s the case, then it’s terrible.
February 28, 2022 at 4:45 am #1204823617Love Jessica and her speech. As a person who has been doing this for quite a long time and has an excellent career, it was cute that she shed a tear and was so nervous about SAG
February 18, 2022 at 11:36 am #1204808540I loved Spencer and nominated it at the GD Awards for Actress, Director, Cinematography, Score, Costumes but I can totally understand why people turned it off. It might not be their cup of tea and I’m not gonna criticise them just because they hated something I loved.
Like any arthouse movie – the most important thing is the atmosphere, vibe or whatever. If you didn ‘t like it , then the whole movie is a failure in your eyes. I also often don ‘t understand why someone is outraged when many people don ‘t like such films . They shouldn ‘t like it. But such obvious things as score, costumes and cinematography had to be noticed and recognised, regardless of whether you liked the movie or not. If they liked Kristen’s performance (and acting is not as obvious as costumes), then they should have liked the movie at least a little bit. Although Oscar often surprises us, in most cases, it does the same as all other awards. Spencer wasn’t nominated anywhere, so they didn’t do it either. At least independent movies have their own awards
P.S Btw, I’m absolutely fine with it. Independent films would not be independent and so beautiful if they were nominated for an Oscar every yearFebruary 17, 2022 at 7:33 pm #1204807780Jessica Chastain fans are the best here, I think they are very genuine and real, same as Kidman fans. I hope for the best for Chastain, she is a great actress.
That’s true, Jessica’s fans are cool. But it’s probably because I can barely see them on this thread 😹and the only one i remember is Wig, love her, she reminds of Tammy Fae with her profile pic

I admire Nicole’s body and how it looks at 54. But oh my God it looks weird
