As much as I like Taylor Swift, I think she should go easy with the signed CDs/Vinyls things in the future. She risks not being taken seriously anymore when it comes to sales/charts, in a way similar to BTS, as the success may feel less and less organic. She should keep such strategies for actual proper album releases. She is very much capable of securing the #1 for her new material without all the gimmicks. So all of these extras are doing nothing but hurting her. Even the Billboard tweet I saw today, they sort of emphasized that it was propeled by the signed CDs and Vinyls.
Not taken seriously by whom exactly ??stan Twitter or the peole on this forum? I’ve already said that yall spend way too much time on stan twitterOctober 1, 2021 at 2:10 pm #1204497058
Grammy voters getting ready to nominate Morgan for AOTY one year after giving a song called “I Can’t Breathe” SOTY. I sincerely hope I’m wrong about this btw but literally all the signs are pointing to Morgan being a lock for noms across the board in country and a possible AOTY nom too.
the thing is it wouldn’t even be random atp 😭October 1, 2021 at 8:17 am #1204496153

I don’t see hte or sour winning solely cuz I think the votes will split between the twoOctober 1, 2021 at 8:14 am #1204496136
so guys, L4S is amazing. Gaga´s vocals are just another level, especially in “Do I love you”. It has a good score and its been acclaimed. But if you guys told me that without the committee mainstream albums are going to dominate the noms, how it that supposed to win?
Cuz on this forum a lot of people just talk outa their asses, I don’t think the lack of a commitee will change anything the same names will get their nods as always with a few snubs here and there.September 28, 2021 at 7:01 am #1204490058
Unpopular opinion: even if Save Your Tears is submitted it has zero chance of winning and likely won’t get nominated in BPDGP. The Weeknd wasn’t able to get in on a straight vote with Blinding Lights in BPSP or After Hours in BPVA. If the pop field showed that much lack of support for that era, I can’t see Save Your Tears getting in BPDGP a year later. Obviously the hate on the Grammys won’t affect his chances (see Kanye’s win last year), but the pop votes lack of support of the album will. Ariana’s involvement could carry it to it being this years namecheck filler nom (Ex: Un Dia, Boyfriend, Fall in Line, etc.) but I can’t see it winning by any means. It likely won’t even be submitted though
Not really unpopular, hardly seen anyone predicting save your tears winning ,also I can’t wait for submissions to get announced I wanna see if dua will submit levitating ft dababySeptember 28, 2021 at 6:09 am #1204489978
One Direction also sold out stadiums in the U.S. yet their fans never had to mass buy and fraud their way to a top 10 single on Billboard. Speaking of which why do people in your fandom do that? Y’all bring up “stadiums” as if that takes away from the fact of chart fraudulence. You’re not helping your case .September 28, 2021 at 5:41 am #1204489941
Taylor and Coldplay actually have ORGANIC hits though and Taylor’s sales match her streaming numbers. Just throwing that out there.
Okey you sound way too bitter lmao, I’m talking about the use of remixes specifically , also if you know what’s going on in the industry you would know that bts had sold out multiple stadiums in the US b4 they had a #1. Just throwing it out there.September 28, 2021 at 5:14 am #1204489917
Ok, let’s not be obtuse and act like “Butter” isn’t one of the most, if not THE most, fraudulent #1 in Billboard’s history. We are in the streaming generation and not only were the streams for that song abysmally low but even the so called “pure sales” were fradulent. They were fueled by multiple versions(“remixes”), website sales, overseas funds and mass buying from a select group of their fandom. Literally EVERYONE was calling it out, including Billboard themselves in their own interview with them. I was hoping that Coldplay, since they are established artists, weren’t going to stoop to their level but “My Universe” already has the remixes being rolled out . Anyways, I don’t know if the Grammys are ready to nominate a song with Korean lyrics in it but we’ll see. Gaga/Tony pretty much have BPGD in the bag if they are nominated just like Gaga did last year with “Rain On Me”. If not then Levitating/Kiss Me More will probably take the prize. If the Weekend were submitting then “Save Your Tears” with Ariana could be a potential upset but sadly I don’t think that will happen.
The remixes talk is so funny cuz Coldplay used remixes with higher power, Taylor used remixes to get willow to #1, levitating has tons of remixes, these are just examples cuz I know so many others do this it’s not new.svg” class=”emoji”September 28, 2021 at 2:53 am #1204489825
Lmao igts it’s so entertaining seeing yall argue tbh, you people spend so much time on stan twitter and that wouldn’t be the worst thing if it didn’t let it influence your views on who actually deserves a nod and who would actually get one , no wonder yall always off with your predictionsAugust 27, 2021 at 12:18 am #1204418791
