If I were an Emmy voter, I would vote for Asante Blackk in supporting. He deserves as much praises as Jharell Jerome and was better than Michael Kenneth Williams, imo.
Truth. He was MVP before Jharrel’s showcase in ep. 4. Hoping he could pull a Sterling K. Brown and win over veteran co-stars. But for now still predicting Michael Kenneth Williams.July 22, 2019 at 9:53 pm #1202990939
Hoping Ramy can sneak in here. The Globes often surprise by nominating lowkey shows on niche networks. Like how they nominated Casual in 2015. And Ramy has the universal story not often seen on TV that might appeal to Globe voters. But then again, Comedy is stacked.July 21, 2019 at 9:16 pm #1202989164
GOT Episode Predictions:
- Lena Headey: The Bells
- Peter Dinklage: The Iron Throne
- Kit Harington: The Iron Throne
- Emilia Clarke: The Bells
- Maisie Williams: The Long Night
- Gwendoline Christie: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
- Sophie Turner: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ??
- Alfie Allen: The Long Night
- Nikolaj Coster Waldau: The Bells or A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
I think Turner will submit the finale even if she wasn’t in it that much. She has her moments in Kings Landing AND her iconique ‘Queen in the North” sequence that was flawless and a big fan moment.July 16, 2019 at 10:15 am #1202978359
I’m going balls to the wall and predicting Asante Blackk to win whew.
Series: When They See Us
Supp. Actor: Blackk

Writing: When They See UsJuly 16, 2019 at 9:17 am #1202977898
every parent getting nommed for WTSU is my tea. Wow. I feel a sweep coming!July 16, 2019 at 9:07 am #1202977799
Asante Blackk is an EMMY nominee and I begged for months to get him in the prediction center. Poor me!
ooh! I had both Aunjanue Ellis and Niecy Nash at 100/1 odds in my predix. Put some respeck on my name.July 15, 2019 at 7:43 am #1202975653
Oops. Sorry. I have Grant instead of McShane. LolJuly 15, 2019 at 7:33 am #1202975644
I’ve put in Benedict Cumberbatch in Lead Actor… i mean this is his category. When was the last time he missed?…I just think he is an easy name-check here despite the overwhelming competition.
I think Dinklage only makes it in if there are 7 nominees. Right now i have:

Wanda Sykes getting in for The Other Two instead of Black-ish.
The Other Two getting three acting noms (Sykes, Shannon & Tarver) + Series and Writing and maybe original song.
Homecoming overperforming because no one on here (or elsewhere on the internet thinks it will get anything anything out Julia, Cannavale and maybe some techs)
Ramy surprising with anything really. Such a timely auteur show in the vein of Master of None and Atlanta won’t go unnoticed. Maybe two or three noms.
Aunjanue Ellis & Niecy Nash both getting noms, Farmiga snubbed (but then again her category is a wasteland)
Hill House getting any of their actors in (Pull thru, Pedretti!)
Also, Sense8 getting into TV Movie.June 30, 2019 at 8:31 am #1202956678
Lol i have seen countless people call Michelle Williams ‘white michelle’ and i am here for it. It’s not malicious in any way.June 21, 2019 at 2:42 pm #1202947453
People conveniently forgetting that Richard Madden also comes from a show’s first season, lol.
The winner is usually from a show nominated for Drama Series — so by that logic Madden is not winning. (He should get a nomination first and I can see there not being passion for him or the show)
I think people need to stop conveniently assume that he is a LOCK for a nomination.June 20, 2019 at 1:02 pm #1202945864
I’m moving Billy Porter into my #1 slot. Odenkirk doesn’t make sense as a winner. There was an episode where he literally bounced a ball for 5 minutes.
Porter makes the most sense. He is EVERYWHERE. And if we’re going by the Lead Actor First/Final season stat – then Porter wins. I thought Stephan James would be the one, but Homecoming has lost some steam since the Globes. Also how terrific would it be if Porter, Brown AND James got in. I don’t think we’ve seen three African American nominated at the same time in Lead.June 20, 2019 at 12:58 pm #1202945856
I finally watched S4 of The Affair, and I found it much better than the third season (which I hated). It’s a pity that the series is apparently not appreciated by Emmy voters (only Maura Tierney was nominated for the second season) because the main cast is great (West, Wilson, Tierney and Jackson) as well as Omar Metwally.
Omar Metwally should be winning Drama Supporting Actor. He delivered a gut-wrenching performance. Probably my second favourite performance by a male this season after Jharrel Jerome.
