Ok all things to the side I was expecting the gift to be decent at best but the way she made this into a story (the lion king I know lol) is impressive It’s fun and uplifting! Beyoncé is something else.July 16, 2019 at 9:32 pm #1202980352
So somebody over at RuPaul made Michelle Visage a producer. I think that’s cool. I don’t really want the show to win for this terrible 11th season (and obviously it will, so will Ru as host), but I’ll be glad if it does to see Visage with her very much deserved Emmy. She was also made a producer of All Stars this past season. Even though the Goldderby article says May 22nd, apparently it debuted in April. With only 4 episodes airing after the cutoff date. Wait a minute. Beyonce, from Destiny’s Child and Beyonce, actually, seriously, really, you’re not fucking kidding me right now with this, got a WRITING nomination BY HERSELF? Is this true? Did she finally write something on her own? What the fuck is going on this year? How many more things am I gonna find on that nominations list?
go cry in the corner Beyoncé is a Emmy nominated artist and it’s nothing you can do about itJuly 16, 2019 at 11:04 am #1202978652
What? Not writing any of your songs and always getting a writing credit? Beyonce is not talented in terms of writing, producing, creating and crafting a song so please stop with the bullshit.
Beyoncé is a Emmy nominated writer go cry about it 😌July 16, 2019 at 9:10 am #1202977831

I just listened to Elton John’s “Never Too Late” from The Lion King. It’s much better than Beyonce’s “Spirit” original song. I don’t really love either song, but Elton’s original has more of a lively upbeat production with African sounds that I imagine might be the song leading up to the credits at the end of the film. Between the two, “Never Too Late” has the better shot at an Oscar nomination in Original Song. Then again… the poor reviews may have killed any Oscar hopes for this film. Plus, if they want to honor Elton, they can always nominate him for the better reviewed Rocketman.
you are crazy if you think that Elton song is better than spirt and why would bad reviews effect a best song nomination?July 10, 2019 at 7:05 am #1202969253
I like “Spirit”. Though I was hoping for an upbeat Afro-pop banger, I think it still works. It has a shot at Original Song. Other film contenders for OS so far are from Rocketman, Wild Rose (hopefully), Toy Story 4, Aladdin and Ugly dolls. I’m rooting for Glasgow from Wild Rose, but “Spirit” has a shot.
the Afro pop song will be on her album coming next week.July 10, 2019 at 6:22 am #1202969220
“Spirit” is a generic, inspirational, Disney ballad. Which means it will show up at some awards show LOL. Preferably Golden Globes or Critics Choice. Grammys? I doubt it. This ain’t no “Halo” (which is overrated ASF).
as a Rihanna fan I’m sure you are enjoying this generic song yes?July 10, 2019 at 5:11 am #1202969181
<p style=”text-align: center;”> Beyoncé gave us 4 and a half octaves, tone, changed her vibrato 3 times, placement, growls , runs, falsetto, power , key changes , vocal stacks and a whole church choir . This woman sings.</p>
