I would not say that- it is quite a good movie, its favourable points are: the cinematography is superb and does not leave a moment without a completely wonderful shot. The camera moves where it wants and is stained with blood, water or fog. The performances of DiCaprio and Tom Hardy are really good, especially Di Caprio’s, who performs a tour de force that ended up giving him his long-awaited Oscar.
The negative is its excessive footage. It is as cold as the snow that covers the places it shows us, so cold and cerebral that it is impossible to feel any empathy for what is happening. Except for two moments in which it is impossible not to shudder, the rest I see completely away from me.
The performance of DiCaprio is quite reliable, no doubt, but it is too physical. It reminds me of that aspect to Chiwetel Ejiofor in 12 Years as a Slave. It’s very good, but not emotional. He was a fair winner of the Oscar, though, it also allowed him to stop insisting with that Oscar which never seemed to grab. Hardy made a good reply, even gives more nuances to his role as a man without mercy.
I have to confess I was deeply in love with Eddie Redmayne´s astonishing performance in the Danish Girl, however, and with a broken heart, I voted for DiCaprio.
In short, a huge production, solid performances, yet too long. 🏆!March 17, 2019 at 5:26 am #1202819274

This is my last post to you all: So GET IT OVER! and stop quoting I do not do that. This is cheap! You can stay your whole life complaining like old grouches: NOBODY CARES ABOUT IT AND NOBODY WILL! 2) While you’re wasting your time here, there are people out there enjoying their lives, including myself. According to your way mental way of processing information, it goes like this 3) THE ACADEMY DECIDED to award that movie from a “raper” with 4 Oscars, so you are all accusing THE ACADEMY OF RAPER SUPPORTERS???? 4) You cannot address in that despicable way to an old person like me, first, your arrogance as human beings is intolerable, Take a look at my list of Movie preferences, 100% sure you have not seen many of them. Because of a person likes a “MEDIOCRE” movie as you say it does not mean: “that your tastes are basic and common like the average McDonald’s eater who thinks buying McDonald’s is eating out” This is a cheap and again extremely arrogant argument. A person who can enjoy and go to the opera, ballet, paint portraits and all those elevated things, still can love a “MEDIOCRE” movie like BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, which is my case. The only intention was to TEACH you how the press and the critics manipulate peoples´opinion and tastes. there are groups which are gathering lots of evidence that what I am telling you is the truth.
I have never in my long life have come across to people like you: Thank God, my children and grandchildren are decent and respectful humans. They warned me how despicable people can be on social media. As Lady Gaga said: Social Media is the toilet of the internet. And unfortunately, these forums seem to be your toilet too.March 3, 2019 at 3:46 pm #1202802620
FYC: A fair article about critics: https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/02/bohemian-rhapsodys-oscars-win-is-a-triumph-over-snobby-film-critics/
CULTURE HOUSE DAILY: Bohemian Rhapsody’s Oscars win is a triumph over snobby film critics
Thankfully, audiences refused to be lectured to by these self-righteous moral guardians – and neither did the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which hands out the Golden Globes. They are a motley collection of freelance journalists, most getting on in years, but they proved to be more in touch with popular opinion than the snotty critics who work for more prestigious publications.
“If you haven’t seen Bohemian Rhapsody yet, ignore the critics and take yourself off to the cinema. You’re in for a treat. As George Orwell said, the only true test of artistic merit is survival and even though Freddie Mercury died at the tragically young age of 45, he and his band will be remembered long after the CRITICS’ favourites are FORGOTTEN”.-March 2, 2019 at 10:33 pm #1202801779

Certainly, people will never understand!
A good suggestion is to pay attention to Queen lyrics, especially from the 70´s albums Queen I, Queen II, 1974.March 1, 2019 at 2:20 pm #1202800680
THIS IS A REMARKABLE OPINION FROM A REMARKABLE HUMAN BEING
THIS IS A TRANSCRIPTION OF Dr Brian May from his Instagram acc. I see a little silhouetto … The Night of the Oscars is still reverberating in my head. Thanks to @@triniqueenie3d. I can relive this moment.
The exquisite live performance by @ladygaga and @bradley_cooper.official was for me the greatest art of the whole evening. In a moment when nobody was judging from racial or sexual or gender-preference agendas, and nobody was pushing a political agenda, these two brave performers got up cold from sitting in the audience and BLEW US ALL AWAY. It was a moment for us all to remember what all these award ceremonies were traditionally about – rewarding the ability to engage, to emotionally move – and above all – to entertain us, in the true sense of the word. All Hail GaGa/Cooper – a match made in Heaven. Art for Art’s sake is still alive !!! This song so richly deserved its Oscar. And – oh yes – my silhouette seems to be a central part of this moment! No credit to me – but you can probably see the expression of joy on my face! Bri

I HOPE THIS MIGHT HELP TO UNDERSTAND how great people like Queen rock guitarist Brian May appreciate Lady Gaga (his friend) and Bradley Cooper´s work. and stop fighting over nothing-February 27, 2019 at 6:29 am #1202797170
SMART AND WINNER!! VS FOOL AND LOSER, THAT MAKES A HUUUUUGE DIFFERENCE!!
As somebody said: Please stop vomiting hatred!! It makes you so little It´s so easy being hideous and say whatever you want when you are hidden and do not have the courage to speak face to face. Again, this makes so little
Be brave a write to him directly and tell him all the anger, bitterness and how miserable your life is because he won an Oscar. Who is the silly here? If sth. like this, makes you behave this way, you should see a doctor or simply get a life!! Adios!! my life is too precious to be here with wasting my time
If you keep on posting messages of hatred I will have to REPORT you!
I PREFER TO IGNORE THAT POOR PERSON HIDDEN BY THE NAME OF THATCHER
(AN OUSTANDING BRITISH PRIME MINISTRE OF THE UK) OMG What a hell is the site! Thank God there is the ignore button, please provide a block one!February 27, 2019 at 5:44 am #1202797142
MY reaction is: Happily ever after!! I loved everything from the beginning until the very end. I am so happy that Could easily give part of my joy to the people who are full of bitterness. Here you are! this might help! 🙂

Greatest moments; 1) Queen+Lambert + FREDDIE. It is not a matter of being a fan, it is LOVE. Those who lived his death were devastated after that, and seeing him on the screen for 30 seconds was emotional.
2) Borhap winning Sound Editing+Sound Mixing+Editing
3) Rami Malek taking his first Oscar home (all crying at home) We felt so happy for him. At that moment I did not know he was the first Egyptian-American in 91 years of the Oscar history in getting that award. For that, anyone who is not racist should be proud and happy for him and his heritage. This man has made history, and Egyptians cannot be prouder and happier. There is a beautiful video on Youtube from his Alma Mater celebrating his triumph.
Best moments: Almost all acceptance speeches.
Worst: I felt sorry for Glenn Close and happy for Olivia. A mix of emotions.
After reading many comments- I still cannot understand the hatred that Americans feel towards Queen and his legacy. One thing is for sure they hate nobody, maybe some stupid critics, they are absolutely right to feel this way. Gaga fans have written horrible messages about them, maybe they have no idea that Brian May and Roger Taylor are very close friends with Gaga. They invited her to play together, Brian likes her very much and mentioned he felt nervous at the Oscars but there was his friend Lady Gaga. So, really…what happen to peolple????
