Comer is absolutely fucking brilliant. I’m in love.May 30, 2020 at 5:12 am #1203508625
Am I the only one that doesn’t quite see it? There is zero discussion between my family, friends, workplace etc. I just don’t see why most are so sure it’s a lock. Especially after being shut out at SAG’s?
No. Most people I know don’t watch it and those few watching it are not passionate about it. Almost everyone talks about Ozark though and it’s usually the first show that pops up when people make recommendations.May 26, 2020 at 6:45 pm #1203502658
Some people are way too fanatical about Sarah Paulson. Although, I tend to agree this episode was a lot better than Margo Martindale’s episode. Quite frankly, I’m having trouble staying engaged in this series. It’s obviously a well done show. The writing seems solid and the performances are pretty wonderful and the topic is interesting but there is something missing. Maybe it’s penis and I have inherent bias, I dunno. So far it seems like a show that will make waves in acting categories but nowhere else.
It’s kind of sickening to be honest.May 22, 2020 at 9:03 am #1203495294

I’ll be here for the meltdowns when Comer, Oh and Shaw all get nominated.May 18, 2020 at 4:45 pm #1203488742
I skipped over her scene with Geraldine. I honestly couldn’t care less.May 11, 2020 at 11:09 am #1203476245
Baranski should have won for that laugh alone. Iconic.May 11, 2020 at 10:51 am #1203476184
The second season of BLL is an awful mess consisting mostly of flashbacks and it shouldn’t even be close to getting nominated.May 11, 2020 at 9:27 am #1203475980
I feel like people on this thread have exaggerated the performance here. Comer was good, the final scene very good, but I don’t think this secured her a nomination, certainly doesn’t have her compete with Linney and across the season Oh’s work remains superior.
She was brilliant and totally deserves that nom.May 7, 2020 at 12:23 pm #1203469699

I can excuse snapping a 12 years old neck but I draw the line at placing a baby in the trash
The comedy lies in how ludicrous and unexpected it is. Who in their right mind would do something so controversial on a show? But at least Dasha put the baby in a position to be found by others very fast. I’m glad the kid was safe in the end.April 29, 2020 at 2:34 am #1203452778
I liked this episode more than the previous two. Fiona Shaw is the MVP. I thought that the reviews were saying that Eve was sidelined but up until now I feel that’s not the case. Btw I thought the thing with the baby and the trash can went a little too far even for this show
I laughed. I’m officially a bad person.April 23, 2020 at 5:30 am #1203443088
I’m personally not a fan of Burstyn’s performance. It was overcooked and overly mannered. I think Roberts was deserving. And Sarandon was magnificent. But these are all just my opinions of course.
What do you mean? She was playing a nutsy. Anyway I’m just thinking about pasta.
